Large and comfy
This is surprisingly spacious, I have been able to fit an awful lot of kit into this enough for working away upto 4 weeks at a time, which includes a reasonable amount of electronic gadgetry, almost fully loaded I have around 25lbs of kit in the bag, the shoulder straps and back pads are very comfortable when fully loaded, these are probably the most comfortable shoulder straps Targus has fitted to a bag (the previous I have had always dig in at the seams leaving uncomfortable pressure points on shoulders), The side zip pockets when the bag is fully packed do not offer much extra space for kit unless the kit is very thin, when looking at the bag there is a section which looks like it is an upper pocket, this though is a full height compartment which is good for folders etc, slightly larger than A4. the lower front being a pocket for some of your gadgets, pens and other fiddly things. There is also a small slide in pocket between compartments at the top soft lined for glasses etc, I use it for my kindle. In the padding at the small of your back there is an additional thin pocket for keeping high value/important documents safe when wearing the rucksack. This is very much a worthwhile purchase, if it lasts anywhere near as long as their previous bags I will be more than happy, I have previous bags which are still in use after 5 years of use, travelling to Africa and back so have been used quite harshly, they always seem to out last the wenger options I have had in the past. So if you need a spacious rucksack for Laptop/notebooks this will be a good safe option. One thing I would have liked on it would be lockable zips, the zips fitted do not offer that option simply, so enough to knock a half star but not enough to knock down to 4 stars.

Great bag! Would definitely recommend for those who need the space
A tad bit bigger than I expected, but plenty of pockets (a few hidden ones too) and enough space to pack my digital (portable chargers, laptop, tablet and accessories) and clothes and supplies for a 3 day camping weekend away! The build so far is great, and would probably report back here in the future after a month or two more of use. I've read a few reports about the zips not holding up and all, but I haven't had any problems so far (I probably haven't been using it as much as some other people). It's good for a day to day work commute (especially if you need the space), but there are better looking "work" backpacks.

Worth every penny
Fantastic Bag for every day use. It is well made and can hold large amounts of things that are actually very heavy. It is a little larger than expected but I really like it. Definitely worth the money. It has a secret pocket at the lower back that from my experience is perfect for a portable charger, passport or wallet. It has loads of little pockets for all of my every day items.

Excellent Choice
This is a wonderful backpack. If you are one of those who love to move with their whole life in a backpack, then this is definitely your choice. A little pricey but nonetheless excellent value. The delivery was also superb, placed an order with a standard delivery and got an estimated delivery date of 1-2 weeks. Voila, the backpack came 2 days later.

This can more than comfortably hold a 17" with loads of other stuff
I'd you have a big laptop you need a big case! This can more than comfortably hold a 17" with loads of other stuff. Only gripe I have is they know the large laptops are three most expensive workstations or gamers - why nor put more effort into the laptop protection. Yeah there is some, but maybe a more rigid compartment with more bottom cushioning.

Just right
Right size for my brick of a laptop! Comfortable to carry. Previous one lasted over 2 years with daily wear.

A great bag but...
I like the design of this bag, in fact, I like the bag so much I've bought at least 5 of them in the last 4 years. There-in lies the problem though, they don't last. The biggest issue is the straps, they break at the bottom of the padding making it very uncomfortable to use once it's broken. I've put up with that sometimes because it was only a month old at the time and then the top handle has broken, the plastic breaks making it painful to carry. Of course, I was only using the handle because the back-strap had broken. It's a big bag obviously designed for a 15 to 17-inch laptop (I use a mac book pro), I carry an iPad, several cables, the odd battery, headphones, sometimes some clothes for a day trip and often a water bottle in the side pocket. Heavy? yes, it's not a light load but it's not so much that the bag should break after a month of usage. The number of pockets is what I really like, I can separate my gadgets and "stuff" into different pockets. All that said, I'm just about to order yet another because the one I have has a broken strap again and I'm fed up with it, I just can't find anything like it though.

Plenty of space for accessories
As a service technician moving around from customer to customer I needed a good sturdy bag to carry my tools, laptop and occasionally parts ..... This one fits the bill entirely.

I really like this backpack because of the design, its size and the number of pockets. I bought mine 5 years ago. Unfortunately now 2 large holes have developed near the sipper of the large pocket, one on each side. For this reason I bought a new Drifter backpack. The holes developed because I ofter used the backpack for grocery shopping filling it to the top with heavy stuff e.g. cans etc. and then carried it by the handle. That was too much stress on the fabric. So, my recommendation for upgrades of this backpack would be to strengthen the support for the handle. The handle itself is extra strong, but the backpack fabric supporting the handle is weak. I subtract one star because of this weakness. For buyers of this backpack I recommend not to use the handle if the backpack is heavy.

This is a great backpack for its longevity, quality build, size, and design. -Build/Longevity: I have owned this backpack for three years. In those three years I have used this backpack everyday to go to and from school (five days a week with a laptop and books in it), for hiking, and for travel. I travel a lot and use budget airlines, which means carry-on and no checked luggage (to save money). This thing has survived the clothes, toiletries, books, electronics, and the rigors of air travel (being stuffed under seats, in the overhead, in trunks, out in the woods, etc.). -Size/Design: I own a 17.3 inch laptop (Vaio VPCF2290x) and it fits with room to spare. The pockets are great for storing many different types of things: books, clothes, groceries, tools, etc. -Quality: I have put this backpack through its paces and it has never let me down. Heavy loads, outdoors (hiking, beach, etc.), planes, and so on. This thing laughs at 5 liters of liquid (I had to carry groceries in this). -Comfort: the pads on the back are a nice touch and the straps don't dig into your shoulders even when fully loaded. -Self-Repair: After three years you would expect things to experience some wear and tear. There are only three parts of this backpack that have experienced significant wear and tear and it was negligible on it doing its job. I have included pictures: the plastic part of the handle broke in two; part of the seam came undone on one of the straps; It came apart where two parts are joined on one of the straps. It was an easy repair job: needle and thread. Overall this is a very durable backpack and I would highly recommend it.

The best bag ever, As expected, gives complete protection to your laptop and other accessories. Lots space & holds on your back firmly.
