I am glad I bought this griddle. It gets hot enough to make crispy hashbrowns, and it is small enough to have a fairly even temperature gradient from front to back. Nothing sticks - hoping this slick surface will last. It runs a bit hot compared to other griddles I've had over the decades, so I turn the temperature dial gradually to find the right temp range for whatever I'm cooking, which is a small price to pay because it does the best job of all griddles I've ever had for achieving that even, golden-brown, crispy crunch for grilled sandwiches, perfectly fried eggs, pancakes, and as mentioned, crispy hashbrowns (for the first time ever). I'm sure it will do a great job with meats and veggies. I wonder if there are desserts I could griddle ... ? Cleaning it is a breeze since nothing sticks (so far - it's still new). I am glad it is dishwasher safe. I worried it would be too small. Rather than too small, it simply lacks that too-cool-to-cook void space in the center that larger griddles have. I thought I'd spend extra time cooking pancakes, but surprisingly, I didn't. I've tended to cook above the heating element where it's hot rather than in the center - apparently I always bought griddles that were too large. The perimeter on this griddle is a bit smaller than that for larger griddles, but not so small that it noticeably affects how long it takes to grill a batch of pancakes. So essentially, the smaller size of this griddle only reflects its loss of the cooler center that I din't use anyway. Its feet line up really well with the grate that covers my gas range, which is a very nice feature (I wasted a lot of time adjusting and fiddling with trivets under the feet of my previous griddle to support it because its feet couldn't line up with the grate). Yup, I like this griddle.

I’m really happy with the Chefman electric grill. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and cooks food evenly. I especially like how convenient it is when I don't want to fire up the outdoor grill. Cleanup is also fairly easy, which is a big plus. It’s a great size for everyday cooking and works well for burgers, chicken, vegetables, and more. Overall, I think it’s a good-quality grill for the price and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been using this Chefman XL Electric Griddle for awhile now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. The cooking surface is much larger than I expected, making it easy to cook breakfast for the whole family at once. I can fit several pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage on it without feeling crowded. The nonstick surface works very well. Food releases easily, and cleanup is incredibly simple. The removable temperature control and drip tray are thoughtful features that make washing the griddle much more convenient. I also appreciate how evenly it heats across the surface—my pancakes come out consistently golden brown instead of being overcooked in some spots and undercooked in others. The adjustable temperature control is easy to use and allows me to cook everything from eggs to burgers without any issues. Despite the large cooking area, it doesn’t take up an unreasonable amount of counter space and stores easily. For the price, this griddle offers excellent value. It’s well-made, easy to clean, and perfect for anyone who cooks breakfast regularly or needs extra cooking space for larger meals. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable electric griddle.

First one i received I knew as soon as i saw it on my door step. Box all broken up and completely open. Box rattled when I picked it up. One leg broken and oil pan broken. There was no packaging to support the griddle. So of course I returned it. Had to decide on do I want a refund or replacement. I spent a lot of time researching this griddle. I returned for a replacement. Took a chance. Amazon sent out replacement even before I had a chance to get broken one to ups. The replacement one came in a new like box with griddle fully secured with Styrofoam packaging. Everything perfect. Replacement one cane from a different seller. I can't believe it was from a return griddle that the seller never opened the box to see if it was all there and resellable. That being said replacement was perfect although it was shipped from a different distributor. So glad I didn't trash the first one and just write it off. I took the time to send it back and 4 days later I recieved the replacement in perfect condition. As far as the griddle? All four corners heated up to 350° with setting at 300°. Perfect. The feet have a rubber insert so the griddle does not move when flipping food. Amazon was great taking care of previous distributors selling practices. It was not a usps fault in any way. Definitely the distributors. But Amazon took care of it in 4 days.

I've only used this once as I just received it. It cooked an egg really well and the egg did not stick at all. I like the fact that you can put the griddle in the sink (without the heat controller) to wash it. My two disappointments are: 1) the heating element on the bottom is not shielded so the bottom of the griddle gets hot. The owner's manual warns that this can damage certain types of countertops. I have a laminate countertop, so now I am hunting for a good heat-proof pad to put under the griddle. In the meantime I have two flooring tiles under it. 2) the power cord is very short, which limits where I can put the griddle unless I want to buy an extension cord that is rated for this type of device.

This is such a great deal. Our stove went out today and of course I already had the meal planned. This arrived in an hour and a half and I was able to pick up where I left off. Not only this, but it warms up quickly and is very very non stick. I was able to cook eggs pancakes and sausage it saved my morning. Great product too. I'm happy with the quality.

This electric griddle has been such a great addition to our kitchen, especially when my kids want to help cook. The large, flat cooking surface gives us plenty of room to make pancakes, eggs, grilled cheese, quesadillas, and other easy meals together. It is much simpler than having several pans going on the stove, and I feel more comfortable supervising the kids because everything stays in one controlled cooking area. It heats evenly, is easy to use, and makes cooking breakfast for the whole family much faster. The kids love helping pour pancake batter and flip their own food, which makes mealtime more fun and gives them a chance to learn basic cooking skills. Cleanup is also much easier than washing multiple pots and pans. Adult supervision is still important, since the cooking surface gets hot, but this griddle makes cooking with children feel much more manageable and organized. It is convenient, family-friendly, and something we use all the time. I would definitely recommend it to families who enjoy cooking together.

I ordered this griddle a couple of days ago and used it for the first time this morning. Please note that anything in the "Cons" section is not meant that there is anything wrong with the griddle. I have a very very small kitchen with little counter space. I am older and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. If I were younger, these items would not be an issue. So here goes: PROS: The griddle, I feel, is very good quality. I love the non-stick surface. It looks nice. It did not take long to heat up. And as I found this morning when I was cooking bacon, it is nice to have that little drain hole and cup. After the bacon cooked, I was able to tilt the griddle holding it by the legs, and let's some of the bacon fat run off. After that, I tried frying an egg. That came out well, even though I messed it up when I tried to flip it! It appears that the griddle does heat up evenly. As you can see by the photo I have provided, I cooked up five slices of thin cut bacon. I used the recommended temperature of 350° and it worked out just fine. The griddle is easy to wash by hand. CONS: As I mentioned above, I have very little counter space in my small kitchen. Although the griddle fit well on my countertop, I lost some counter space. This was not too much of an issue while I was cooking. Where it was an issue for me is waiting for it to cool down before I could move it. If you have a larger kitchen and more counter space, obviously this will not be an issue for you. Also, to me the design of the power cord and temperature control could be improved. Most electric appliances that I have used with such a cord have a red light. This one has a blue light, and I can barely see it as the blue sort of blends in with the black. Also, since the temperature control is curved, I'm limited to where I can plug it in. If it was straight, that would be great. It is a shorter cord, but apparently that is a safety factor. SUMMARY: The griddle is good quality. It was packed well. It has a good user manual. It looks nice. I was pleased with the way it cooked bacon. So, I would recommend this if you as an option if you are looking to buy a griddle. As to the cons, again this is due to my age and my eyesight. And the limited space that I have. The griddle is large enough to make brunch for a family. Heats up fast. Very easy to clean. Cooks evenly and I love it. The price is low and that worried me about the quality but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality. Great product.
