Initially looked at Zwilling's Spirit, but decided to try the Healthy Legend, as it was about half the price. I must say that was a pretty good decision. Ordered the set Thursday night...received on Saturday around noon. Handles were easy to install on the lids and on the pot & pans. Immediately made lunch: stir-fried chicken and cabbage over brown rice. I was pleased with the fact that I was able to cook quickly on lower heat, and with less oil, once the pan was hot. Cleaning consisted of simply wiping with a damp dishrag. I have had these for a couple of months now, and my only complaint concerns the handles on the glass lids: they are metal, and get hot. I might search the local hardware stores for some type of non-conductive replacements for these metal knobs. Still, these are a good buy for the money. I eventually intend to get the Zwilling Spirit, but until then, these will do nicely. I will probably get the Wok and the 7 quart stock pot, as well... ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great Craftsmanship *by T***K on Reviewed in the United States on 19 April 2012* Just to qualify this review a bit, I am a mechanical engineer with 20+ years of experience in medical device R&D who also likes to muck around in the kitchen quite a bit. I've been frustrated with the poor craftsmanship and poor durability of "non-stick coatings" (that stick!) and the maintenance difficulties of seasoned steel or cast iron pans. I finally broke down, did a little research, and chose the "Healthy Legend Deluxe 8 Pc German Weilburger Ceramic Coating Non-stick Fry Pans and Sauce Pan Cookware Set" as my first foray into ceramics.Um, wow.First, the craftsmanship rocks. When you pick them up the first time, there is no doubt in your mind that the people who designed and made these were proud of their work and damn good at it as well.Second, performance. A month and 20 very messy omelettes (sp?) after reaching my doorstep, the following is the process for cooking and cleaning up - with a 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil in the pan at medium high heat (gas range), drop in a handful of mushrooms followed 2 minutes later by one handful of grated mozzarella, 3 slices of muenster cheese, some sundried tomatoes, and some prosciutto. Just as the cheese is about to melt (the edges of the grated cheese begin to slump, in other words), dump in 4 eggs and mix briefly (I've been using a Joseph Joseph Uni-tool, 5-In-1 Utensil, Grey which, though goofy looking, is actually ridiculously useful). After folding (intact with zero futzing!) the omelette simply slides out of the pan.With my old non-stick, the process of clean up was a hassle. With these, almost nothing remains in the pan after sliding out the heart attack provoking meal, and what little remains comes off just by pouring water over it. Cleaning is completed with 15 seconds of wiping it dry with a paper towel.If the coating doesn't degrade over time, I'll have to peg this as my best culinary purchase to date with the possible exception of my very cool toaster oven Breville BOV800XL The Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ. I'll check back at the 6 month mark with an update.Update 11/25/2012: Yep, several months later these puppies still work beautifully. See my comment for more information. The only thing I would add to that is that the knobs on the lids do sometimes get too hot to handle if you are using them to, for instance, boil water for pasta.6/23/2014 Update at just past the two year mark: well, I have to say that I discovered a way to kill this pan's non-stick properties - a friend of mine that I'd been dating for a while decided to do something nice for me and cook me dinner for a change. She was not accustomed to my gas range and left the empty pan on the burner without turning it off.She discovered this two hours later, and, trying to be kind, scrubbed it in an effort to get the burnt peanut oil off without telling me initially.
