I pulled the cap off. The tip sealed. I can't get a small pin down through it. Before I rate this a 1I'd like to try it first.** A: I am not sure but I do know with Loctite brand you pull at the bottom of the white tip, it has a flange, it moves about 1/4 of an ince and opes up for flow of the product. You put it back down or just thread the cap back in place and it seals back up. It would not be good as you would not be able to loosen the bolts. Try looking at the blue thread locker. You get to (big) bottles of thread lock that are high quality with double-seals to prevent leakage or drying out during storage. The thread locking compound seems to be very high quality and is easy to apply with a decent amount of viscosity that isn't too thick or too runny - it spreads nicely on the threads and stays put while you assemble the hardware. I used the red compound on a pesky screw that kept backing out with previous applications of Loctite blue and I haven't had any problems since.
