It's PURE garlic with a kick. It has a strong flavor. I bought it for health reasons. I add it to my fruit smoothie each morning, along with this companies Quercetin, Ascorbic Acid, and L-Lysine. I drink about 1/2 pitcher full adding stronger tasting fruits to overcome the taste, but I'm getting used to it, and starting to really like it (crave it, in fact). Power foods provide you with the most nutrients for the least amount of calories, and the most benefits to your health in lowering your heart disease risk, although at this time I am primarily taking it for it's natural antibiotic effects. ONE of the side benefits is it's historically use to improve cardiovascular disease. The Cleveland Clinic includes garlic on its list of 35 power foods. Mayo Clinic includes garlic in "The Mayo Clinic Book of Home Remedies". As much as I appreciate the studies confirming what people have known for centuries, as a retired herbalist I have personally seen the positive health benefits of garlic in my clients and needed no further proof. Now, I am seeing proof positive in my own health. I have taken garlic supplements as preventative measures off and on for years, I should have been more diligent. As we age our immune system can become compromised before we are aware of it.

I am very satisfied with this product. I use this product primarily as a supplement. I had initially tried eating more garlic and more garlic powder, but I wanted to get to a point where I could be more precise in my dosage. Therefore, I started buying garlic capsules. Then, when I saw bulk supplements had garlic extract,I decided to try it. I began using bulk supplements products a little while ago and have really enjoyed the quality, as well as the price. I was actually very surprised that this extract seemed more "garlic-y" than the garlic powder I bought at the grocery store. Much more flavor. I use a teaspoon a day of this garlic extract added to food throughout the day. It is a great way to get the garlic I want into my diet without breaking the bank and it also tastes good. Very pleased!

Great price for powdered garlic. I used this bag to refill my wholesale club size garlic bottle. The garlic is a nice powder, not a granule.

After looking through reviews for the garlic extract I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. The reason I wanted it was to boost my immune system and I can say it's definitely helping. I try to include a quarter teaspoon in at least one meal a day. It's convenient to just throw it into whatever I am fixing and it tastes great saving me a lot of effort while cooking. The only reason I kept it at four stars is because I wish it was organic. Nevertheless it's a great product and I will continue to buy it in the future. Highly recommended!

I am very satisfied with this product. My husband usually peels and crushes garlic cloves daily for his dinner which usually results in smelly hands....smelly kitchen. This garlic extract is so much more convenient for the both of us. This extract (in my opinion) is far superior than the actual garlic clove (no kidding). The smell is potent but not overwhelming. I can actually feel it working in my body after about 3 minutes. I guess you can sprinkle it on your food; but I spend time inserting the powder in size "00" gel caps. Yes..I would recommend this product to friends and family....garlic is so good for you. D. Rothspan

Ordered this for a friend, as a gift. She loves it!. She was so happy to get it, as she is battling cancer. No, she isn't seeing a Dr. She is doing it on her own with purely natural things. Happy to say with this and other things she used, she is doing so much better, even working her butt off in the yard, a few months ago, she slept all day. You don't have to do Chemo and Radiation to get healed of Cancer, in fact, that cures, less than 5% of anyone. It's big business, that why all the Dr.'s recommend it, it is what big Pharmacy tells them to do...sad.

I ordered this previously and was very happy with it. It was so tasty and smelled so good. I ordered another bag and was very disappointed with what I got. As soon as I opened the bag I noticed an unpleasant smell. It tasted like sawdust. My first thought was it was a bad batch, but I see someone else got the company to admit something had changed with the product. Don't buy this, it's not good anymore. It went back.

I use it everyday to mix with my water that I make every morning to sip through out the day. Water mixed with lime juice, honey and now I also add the Garlic powder and love the taste- adds more taste to my water.
