Really good quality very pleased with this book I will buy more from this supplier if there are any books they have that I like. By the way in the UK you can only use this type of book in the reference library which means you can not take it out of the library. It is as they described it to be I am very pleased 😀👍

The thesaurus is great, the delivery not so great. It says that the item was left in the letterbox. There isn't a letterbox on the outside door of this apartment block and was left outside.

My husband and I were thrilled with the book. It is very well laid out; exciting to get into and begin to word-smith. Improving our language with alternate words is a great way to communicate. Having a good thesaurus is necessary when writing so that you are not using the same word all the time. It was brain expanding in the "word finder" section. We had no idea there were so many names for such common place things. I think we will buy some for gifts. I love all things "Oxford."

Excellent thesaurus ! Bought as used but was in brand new condition. Didn't look like it had been used at all. Very pleased with my purchase - will be a great asset for my written Uni work. Big thumbs up !

This is an excellent thesaurus, well updated and with an exceptional index in the middle with lists of various animals/birds/foods/etc.etc. It is not too large to handle and is perfect for crossword addicts.

Writers will often tell you that you want a thesaurus. A lot of them, self-proclaimed authors, will whack your ears with scholarly facts, names, and events. This thesaurus next to the usual corporate pun "motivate - fire with enthusiasm" contains a hidden treasure trove, lists of words that sum up most of the facts that you find yourself picking up your ears from the ground and fastening them to your head for. These lists of words will never replace a proper reference like a good ornithology book or a nice book on insects. The thesaurus contains no determination table of any sorts for the lists of medicine, crustaceans, chemical elements, and so forth, but it will offer you lists to browse and search for in the library or on the Internet. If you need to quickly put your scholar on, this thesaurus and the hidden treasure trove it contains will help you well on your way, but by itself it will still leave you a wet finger doctor telling the patient not to worry: yes, you have a pain in your chest, it's just the flu, not a heart attack. The thesaurus is a formidable start, but not and end to all means. You do really want to own it.

The thesaurus is excellent but was damaged on arrival. There was no padding in the box
