These appear to be well designed kits that are easy to assemble. The wood and fittings are good quality and the nestboxes include the ventilation and drainage required for a good bird box. The directions are clear and the pre-drilled holes are accurately placed. The screw driver included is more than adequate and securely fits in the screw heads. The holes for the screws are countersunk so that the screws remain flush with the wood when installed. These are functional nestboxes that are designed for the purpose and are great replacements for our old ones. A couple of caveats would be that the wood used appears to have been joined together with glue joints and the mounting screw holes are in line with the grain of the wood. This could result in splitting if too much tightening occurs. Pole mounting is preferred. Within an hour or two of being installed all three nest boxes were occupied and in use. Nice combination of good functionality and appearance. A welcome addition to our backyard habitat.

So I purchased three of these bird houses and I do have to say that I was impressed how easy they were to put together. First off it comes in a really nice box & everything is that you need is inside the box including a screwdriver. When I saw that and I put it together I was thinking that these would make really good Christmas gifts or if I took him to a party everybody gets a Christmas birdhouse and we all put them together at the party. So the material was cedar and it was all pre-drilled really easy to put together and I had nice screws. The birdhouse was very sturdy and I think it'll function very well. We buy bird houses and put them around our property because we have a lot of birds and bird feeders so we have sort of up a little mini bird sanctuary. I would recommend this product for the money that it cost it is a good deal the wood look like it was a good quality it was everything was pre-drilled it had all of the items that you needed inside of the box. The only drawback is that it was made in China I would have prefer if it was a made in America because I mostly buy American items -- but this was a pretty good quality Chinese product. Dollar for dollar I think that it's a good price you can make one for a little bit less but since this is already all pre cut out pre-drilled and it looks like it has some type of a smooth finish on it it looks like if you wanted to make bird houses with very little power tools... This is a pretty good option. One important note is to not install the top lid until you mount it because the mounting hole is inside the birdhouse. They do give you a nice longer screw for the birdhouse but I used my own screw because I wanted to be able to install use a three or a three and a half inch screw going into the tree. The birds that we are primarily attracting to the spirit houses would be that the finches. Also I wanted to mention it does come with a metal ring around the hole to keep predators from pecking through the hole.

Well made and east to put together. Looks good and metal around opening should deter the sparrows from making the hole bigger. also is easy to open and clean.

Nice little birdhouse. Easy to put together and mount. Put it out and attracted some nearby house sparrows, so I waited until the end of February and several pairs of bluebirds were checking it out and shooing the sparrows off of it. Waiting for a nest.

Purchased this bird house to replace a bird house that just fell apart. This house is simple, great quality and great looking. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. It arrived quickly and all you needed to put it together was in the box. I am in my 70's and love birds; however, I think it would be a great project for family fun. You won't regret purchasing this item.

Very nicely made, you need to put together but very easy to do, instructions are clear. Already have a family living in it. Will draw many bluebirds.

These bird houses are high quality and SO easy to put together. 5 min at the most! Screw driver included. There are little ridges on the inside to help fledglings climb out.

All pieces cut to perfect fit, easy to assemble, includes screws and screwdriver !!!. Beautiful finish product.
