Good quality adapter and works great with my 2-pin IEM cables. Now I can connect them to my 2.5 balanced port on my FIIO K3 desktop amp.

This device saved me a good chunk of change. I have a balanced cable with modular interconnects but this was cheaper and faster to get than buying a replacement interconnect. It works well, as expected. The small length of cable between the ports is valuable for portable devices. the other option is to have a double length connector sticking out, which is awkward and creates a longer lever to potentially damage your DAP just by walking around. This reduces the risk to the same as you'd have if your headphones had a 4.4mm connector.

Good quality, attaches and passes the audio without distortion or problem

After trying a dozen different adapters, finally landed on one that does exactly what I needed it to. Take 2.5mm balanced headphones and convert to 3.5mm Single Ended for normal headphone jack use. Works great so far.
