## Overview

Elodea densa is a fast-growing, oxygenating aquatic plant available in 10 loose stems. Weighing 100 g and made from ceramic, it thrives in partial shade and requires moderate watering. This winter-hardy species is perfect for enhancing the beauty and health of your aquarium or outdoor pond.

## Description

Elodea Densa - 10 LOOSE STEMS - without lead or weights The common name "waterweed" gives you some idea of the growth habits of this plant. Egeria densa is one of the best growers of all, and there are absolutely no issues with cultivation. Native to Southeast Brazil and Argentina, it has now spread across every continent. The "dense" variety displays extremely close, compact leaf growth along the stem. It also grows very well in garden ponds - either planted or floating - but is not completely winter-hardy. Normally delivered within 3 - 5 days but on occasion this maybe delayed which is why this was extended for delivery. Important Plants are incubated in a soultion of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light. These are treated to remove the insecticide but there are cases where this has not been fully removed causing casualty's in crustacean.

Review: Perfect plant! - Honestly I’ve Nver had an issue so far. First bought 5 stands for my tadpoles and they seemed to really enjoy it! The second time I bought some (which was recently) is for my goldfish. They seem to love it too and helps a lot with oxygen. Not to also mention that they look beautiful in the tank too, nice and healthy. I was worried at first because I have shrimp in my tank, so I soaked them in baking soda for 24hours and then cleaned it with dechlorinated water and everything seems perfectly fine ☺️. However there was a sneaky snail that hitch hiked along but was easily spotted when I was cleaning the plants before adding them. Overall I do recommend these!

**Q: can i put the plants in the pond in uk winter**
A: Why not, if it is a pond plant, although I bought it for a fish tank

**Q: Is this safe for weather loaches**
A: I would say this is safe for all tropical fish you plant it in your gravel and it grows upwards so you have no problem with your loaches getting tangled up

**Q: Do you take the foam off thats wrapped round the bottom of the plant**
A: No just gently put it into the round weight and put it in the aquarium and it should take root

Honestly I’ve Nver had an issue so far. First bought 5 stands for my tadpoles and they seemed to really enjoy it! The second time I bought some (which was recently) is for my goldfish. They seem to love it too and helps a lot with oxygen. Not to also mention that they look beautiful in the tank too, nice and healthy.
