Definitely worth it
I had looked at different options for a heart rate monitor. I have a smartwatch (Amazfit bip5) and it works pretty good but this thing allows me to have a real time heart rate and connects to the machines (I go to a planet fitness) which helps me hit my goals well. It is really comfortable my only complaint is that it didn't come with a bigger band to fit on my biceps but works perfect on my forearm with no slipping or issues reading. I have not used a chest strap but I imagine it is a lot more convenient and comfortable than one of those

Durable. Does not come off during physical workouts.
Extremely easy to connect to Samsung Health. Works great during both eliptical machine and jiu jitsu training. Measures accurate heart ratr.

Best HR monitor I have used
I bike and walk everyday. As I get older and wiser I needed to make sure I was properly zone training so that I don’t get injured. This HR monitor is simple and is accurate, I compared it to my Apple Watch and to a chest monitor and it is the same. Bluetooth works with my Apple Watch so I don’t need to pair to my phone, but you can pair it to your phone. I also pair this to my computer for Zwift and works amazing. I have had it for a month and it’s still holding its charge. I like the way it looks and it’s easier to put on with all my gear on, I don’t have to remove clothes to put on the monitor unlike my chest monitor which used watch batteries. The rechargeable battery is a huge advantage so that I don’t have to swap batteries ever.

Easy to use, not sure of results (Last update)
I just got this yesterday. I set it up using heartool app on my iphone (this is the app recommended by COOSPO) and everything worked right away. I'm 75 years old so the rough estimate of max heart rate would be 145. In my youth I was a good runner with a good VO2 uptake so I could usually exceed my theoretical max, so I would even agree my max might go as high as 160. I first looked at my phone at the 10 minute mark of my first workout with the COOSPO today and the app said my pulse was 172! I slowed down (didn't think I was working that hard) and finished the workout. When I looked at the summary it said my max heart rate during the workout was 193! So now I have to say it's not accurate. But I'm not going to give up on it. I'll try it for a week or two and if it improves, I'll update my posting. The app is just a receiving tool, the COOSPO does the pulse monitoring, so I assign this result to the device, not the app. I had the max bpm warning set for 145 but never got a warning vibration that I could feel but that might be due to the heartool app. And for those that are wondering why I didn't see the dark red LED, I was running in 30 degree weather so the COOSPO was under the clothing. I will add that I wore the monitor on the inside of my upper left arm. I'm going to vary between inside upper arm and outside upper arm, and forearm. Maybe one of those positions will make a difference. I'm also going to try to wear it outside my jacket sleeve tomorrow to see if it will still pick up my pulse; that way I can see the LED. I really like the device. Simple, comfortable, easy to set up. I really want this to work. Follow up: I wore the COOSPO on my forearm today and ran at a slightly slower pace and the device worked perfectly. I did one section where I ran hard enough to force my pulse over the alarm limit and the monitor buzzed 3 times and it was very obvious. My max pulse was 147 and I didn't push any harder so I don't know if it would have gone higher, but for this workout, the COOSPO did everything perfectly Second follow up. I've already been contacted by COOSPO offering a refund at first and then again contacting me after my follow up hoping I would continue to be satisfied. Very happy with their communications. I've added a star :) I'm taking the star back off unfortunately. The device freaked out again this week. I bought a Polar chest monitor to make sure I had good data so I've been wearing both for a few days now. A couple days ago the COOSPO alarm went off a few minutes into the run and it said my pulse was 160. The Polar said my pulse was 119 and I knew from experience and feel that the Polar was correct. I doubt my heart is capable of a pulse of 160. I'll probably ask to return the COOSPO now which is unfortunate. It's very easy to use and I like the alarm.

Stopped working after 5 weeks, now completely useless
Worked great for about a month, then all of a sudden stopped working. It now gives a heart rate that is obviously much much lower than reality (ie, it’s detecting a heart rate in the 50s when I’m probably between 140-150bpm). Completely useless, do not recommend if you need something that works for longer than 5 weeks. Update: Abysmal customer service. Like another reviewer experienced, the company sent an automated message offering me a full refund, and then when I responded to that offer, I stopped hearing from them. Buyer beware- this company appears to make products that work 7 out of 10 times, and the 3 who end up with lemons are stuck with no support. Take the chance if you want, but don't expect support if you're an unlucky buyer of a garbage unit.

Works well and great battery life. HRM accuracy is great and similar to Garmin chest HRM, which is amazing. Much more comfortable compared to my Garmin chest strap.

Been using for about a month and a half and seems to be working well. Is accurate. Use it for about 3/4 to 1 hour per day and stays well charged. Just charged when I received and am still running on the second charge. I use it with the Candence app and they pair well. To turn it off sometimes have to take it off so it is not reading my pulse. Once I remove it and hold the on/off button for about 5 seconds it does shut off. Overall happy thus far.
