They gripped the damaged screw heads really well and both screws came out surprisingly easily.Simple tool, but absolutely perfect for the job. The pliers gripped the screws very well on very thin edged heads, allowing me to remove them with ease and I couldn't believe how well it worked! ;-)The pliers themselves are a lovely bit of engineering too - nicely hardened steel, sharp teeth, precise jaw mating and the pivot is free moving with stickiness.N.B. I even purchased a mini version of these just in case I have the same problem with a smaller screw in the future.
