Purchased for 2015 Wenger 22.5” suitcase. Patience needed, but they work!
My Wenger spinner suitcase was still in good shape except for one faulty wheel which made steering it like getting one of those wonky grocery carts. I love the 22.5” size of my suitcase that’s sadly no longer available; it’s been perfect for my 2-3 week trips to Switzerland. As I have to check my bag anyway because of my trekking poles I couldn't use the smaller check in sized bags, so I thought I’d give these replacement wheels a try. They arrived within a week, the package included 4 wheels, 4 matching inner plates, and screws. The quality of the wheels is great, seemingly better than what’s on newer suitcases. I’d picked up some tips from previous reviews (thanks, everyone!) and will add some of my own. Supplies needed: a good Phillips screwdriver, a good utility knife, a well-lit area, and a healthy dose of patience. Nice to have: a good counter to work on, clothespins/binder clips to hold back the lining, a strong flashlight, and a thin brush to clean adjusted holes. The inner plates that came with the wheels seemed too deep to work well with my suitcase so I decided to use the new wheels but use my old inner plates and the older slightly longer screws. I determined that what I then needed was for the old plate holes to match up with the new wheel “pegs” that would need to receive the screw. This took some carving of the inner plate with the utility knife to lengthen the holes so they’d match up with the “pegs” (see photo, yellow area indicates what I needed to carve). I carefully carved away on both sides of the inner plate so that the peg would fit securely in the correct area of the inner plate. When enlarging be careful to maintain an oblong shape or you’re going to need a washer under the screwhead which will negate the benefit of the longer screw. I did not need to make larger holes in the suitcase itself as some have reported, but did need to shave away some of the white corrugated plastic of the suitcase’s structure (see photo, again, yellow area was what was carved). I wasn’t too scared to do this when some of the areas looked like the original wheel installer had to do the same! This was the easy part. The hardest part that required the patience was working in small, dark quarters as I pushed the wheel pegs through the existing holes, matched up the inner plate, and then by feel, intuition, and prayer inserted the screw (doing the most difficult position to reach first) and tried to locate the receiving hole. After I located the first peg hole I worked it like changing a tire, tightening the screw just enough to hold, then going to the next screw, using the flashlight to locate the hole and orient myself as to where to place the screw. Once I could feel it take, I’d tighten it slightly then move on to the next, etc. After I knew all screws were indeed in the proper hole of the wheel peg I’d tighten the screws a bit, alternating screws until all were done. The fit of the wheels on the suitcase is perfect, they seem solidly made, and my favorite suitcase is ready for many more cobblestoned miles and memories. Next trip is 157 days away, but who’s counting?! Post trip update: Took my trusty Wenger suitcase with its new wheels for a month long trip through Switzerland. They worked beautifully and are ready for this year's trips. Two years and three European trips later they're still going strong!

The wheels of a luggage is ALWAYS the problem, but not anymore. Easy to replace
I recently purchased the Zoofen Replacement Luggage Wheel Repair Suitcase Bag Parts Spinner Wheels Casters for my Swiss Gear suitcase. The wheels on my suitcase had a lot of wear and tear and the wheels were no longer rotating due to rusting of the castor. I was hoping I was able replace them with these. Sadly, it did not fit. I contacted the seller to ask if they had it for my luggage providing them with the measurements, and they responded in a few hours. The customer service was amazing, but sadly they did not have the specific size I needed. Although I had to return the item, and did not have a chance to use the actual product for travel, I would give 5 stars for being responsive and trying to help me out. The idea is great and it is MUCH EASIER than changing the wheels itself. If you need your luggage wheels changed, try these. It's so so easy to install. I would say, even a child can do it. Now that I know I can purchase castor with the wheels attached, I will changing all my family's luggage with these, instead of just throwing them out, and purchasing new luggages. I couldn't be more pleased with the product. These wheels are an excellent solution for anyone needing to repair or upgrade their luggage. The only tip I would give to the seller would be to mention what specific luggages certain wheels fit for. I know there are thousands of luggages and sizes, it might be hard but it will help a buyer like myself be able to search for "Swiss gear carryon castor wheels replacement" instead of spending hours and hours looking at sizes.

Fits for my Swiss Gear 26"
Took a chance and ordered these for my Swiss Gear 26". I did match up the measurements as the listing provided, and they were pretty close. I figured I would return them if they did not fit. They arrived in about 2 weeks via USPS. Only one of my wheels was bad (it would no longer swivel freely), so I matched up the right one and started the replacement. The wheel section was fine, but the "washer/holder" on the inside didn't fit so well. But I could use the old one from the wheel before (it was not damaged). It took some lining up, but I was able to get the screws in. What do you know? It fit! Not a perfect match if you look closely and compare the new wheels to the old one, but who is really looking at wheels? It works fine now - rolls, swivels, not off center, etc. We will see how it holds up!

These don’t handle common usage
These fit my Samsonite bag perfectly, but they just didn’t hold up when placed into use. Literally, the first time I checked this bag, one of the studs holding the wheel to the bag snapped. See photos. This is too bad because it was a lot of work to install these and now I’m going to have to start over…. If I could reach the seller (can’t) I’d ask them to send me another set so I could see if this failure was just bad luck or is typical.

Patience and a headlamp needed
These are the right size for the hole alignment, but the actual posts are very difficult to find when the inner plate in placed as the posts run a bit short and I had to use the old screws to make it even work. It took literally 2 hours and a lot of neck wrenching... ]reading glasses and a headlamp. Several family members had to give it a try. Once on they will likely work fine or the posts may snap as the line up was not easy. There was one wheel that I had replaced years ago which I remember being quite easy but it was a different brand/look...posts were smooth and 2mm longer - which helps a lot I guess.

There are great replacement wheels!
Replaced two wheels on each of two suitcases. These were the leading wheels when pulling the suitcase in the 45 degree position. Wheels fit well and were relatively easy to install. Needed to make the holes in my suitcases a little larger to make the outer wheel screw attach points go in the holes. The most difficult part was squeezing the inner piece and the outer piece together (helps to have two people) to start the first attachment screw. The screws supplied were shorter than the original screws and it made the inital first screw assembly more difficult, so I used the old screws and that was significantly easier. The supplied screws need to be longer. The replacement wheels work well.

passende teile
das sie gut passen hätte ich nicht erwartet aber top. Haltbarkeit muss noch getestet werden, da sie nicht sehr robust wirken und das Material mir etwas weich erscheint, aber mal sehen
