Isolate It!: Sorbothane Sheet Stock 70 Duro (3/16x 12 x 12in)

I purchased this on a half-price sale to make insoles for my Xero brand running shoes. I wanted to add some shock absorption, while maintaining a zero-drop footbed. So far, so good!

I use these pads as a buffer in my Airsoft guns. They are easy to cut, easy to store and do the trick. I use them to add spacing in my AEG to correct the Angel of Engagement of the sector gear and piston, they also absorb shock very well.

I used this to dampen some equipment. It's quite soft, softer then the durometer rating I ordered. I brought it into the lab at work and checked it with their calibrated equipment. In terms of damping it works well. It's a bit slippery, and seems to be "walking" out from under the machine a bit with time. This is my number one complaint. I'll add some adhesive to it next overhaul. The textured damp It does dampen vibration and noise well and seems to be resistant to oils well.

The 1/2 inch definitely decreases vibrations both "gross" and "micro". Does not compress greatly even under 500+ pounds of weight. Somewhat difficult to cut.

Not very durable. 70 Duro is more like 30. Vibrated to a pulp. I replaced with 65 duro by another manufacturer and had no issues. This stuff is more like foam rubber than Polyurethane rubber.

No thus product was not what I wanted , this is the second time I ordered it and the first order had one side sticky tape the second order had none do I could y use it

Lo spessore dichiarato di 6,35 mm non era rispettato, ma variava fra i 6,66 e i 5,25 mm. Acquistato per appesantire e smorzare le vibrazioni di un piatto giradischi, lo sbilancia a causa del peso non equamente distribuito e provoca oscillazioni verticali di braccio e puntina che lo rendono inutilizzabile per quello scopo

Correspondía estrictamente a sus especificaciones. Respecto a su función, recomiendo documentarse con cuidado sobre sus características y aplicaciones. Correctamente aplicado es extraordinario.
