We have a newer LG Dishwasher and the dishes do well. No chipping or problems cleaning.

Do the grey not come with salad plates?

The largest bowl is for said salad plate. Pangu have a lovely grey dinnerware set with traditional salad plate. Hope this helps

What is the capacity of the bowls? How many ounces do they comfortably hold?

I filled it almost full and got 22 oz. but it will hold 16 oz. comfortably.
