Rebound Recuperation Formula for Cats, Hydration Support

We have a kitty who adopted us. For the last 8 years he has been a fixture to our home. During Halloween, he sits and greets all the kiddos who trick or treat. He is truly loved. He was sick and I purchased this. Within 3 days, now, he is walking, meowing and eating really well. I went from spoon feeding him, to him eating on his own. He is starting to act like his old self again and we are overjoyed. I will continue to give it to him until it's gone. I can't say enough great things, just do your pet a favor and try this, you will be so happy you did, and your furry will be so happy too!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This solution is such an amazing product. One of my cats is quite old and has really bad IBS. Recently we had such a bad flare up and I couldn’t get him to eat anything or keep anything down. He has done well with this once before, unlike a lot of the other Recovery liquids available, so I figured I’d try it again. I can’t say it was specifically this that made him better because he has had a lot of medication from the vet recently to help him as well, but this stuff got him to eat and kept it down! He loves the smell and taste of it, and he is a very picky cat. He went from practically nothing to at least a little wet food with this mixed in. Now he is eating more than I have ever seen and finally gaining weight (it’s been a struggle to keep him from losing weight no matter how much or what kind of food I have available). He also has so much more energy than he has had for a very long time, which could be the medicine again, but I think it is mostly that he is getting enough calories finally. Now, it is quite expensive, and even when giving a full dose a day it goes bad before I can use it all, usually about 5 days in, and he will no longer touch it. My solution has been to put it into ice trays, one dose per ice cube, right when I open the bottle. I’ll be using this a little while longer until I’m sure he can keep food down, and then maybe in smaller portions for a while to keep his appetite up until (fingers crossed) he gets back to a healthy weight.

Over the last couple years my sweet, picky 17 yo cat Ricky had been gradually losing weight and getting “dull”… his eyes, his fur, he was just getting run down. The vet diagnosed him with CKD and hyperthyroid and we started meds. In the last couple months he really started to deteriorate, no energy, barely eating and lost a couple pounds he really couldn’t afford to lose. I was worried he was going to waste away, I was getting really sad and losing hope. The one thing he would enthusiastically eat was the “Churu Nourish” treat tubes I buy from my vet (different than regular churu, twice the calories). But those have so little nutrients in them, I knew he couldn’t last long on churu nourish alone. In desperation I searched for cat appetite formulas or cat nutrients, saw the great reviews on this one and ordered (along with a couple others) . When they all arrived Ricky wouldn’t eat any of the nutrient formulas on his food, so I mixed this liquid with his churu in a little cup and used a food syringe to put the slurry back in the churu tube. He sucked it down just as enthusiastically as a regular churu treat. So for the next week and a half I made him 4 “churu bombs” a day- 6 ml of rebound liquid mixed with a churu, four times a day. He’s getting calories and some protein from the churu and his vitamins and minerals from the Rebound liquid. Added bonus, I could sneak his meds in his “churu bomb”, no more pilling. After a few days of mostly churu bombs, he started eating his wet food, a little at first and then more and more until now, a couple weeks later, he is eating two cans of cat food daily and with gusto! I really credit this product for giving him the nutrition he needed to recover enough to want to eat again. And he’s put on a pound and a half in the last two weeks- Rebound liquid is very low cal, but it makes the calories that your cat is willing to eat have enough nutrition to keep them going and help them recover. Now Ricky is acting more like his old self- strutting around the house, getting into mischief, demanding scritches. His fur is shinier and he has more energy and an appetite. Even though he’s eating more, I’m still giving him two to three “churu bombs” a day with 6ml of rebound each time, and he loves it. I just ordered another bottle and plan to continue it as his daily multivitamin. I don’t know how long my sweet Ricky will be with us, he’s a very old man and his CKD is pretty advanced. But I absolutely think this product (along with the Churu Nourish tubes, Forza Renal cat food and some great vet care) is making the time he has left longer and more comfortable. I forgot I had purchased this. I bought it because my elderly kitty was going downhill fast. She wasn't eating enough, and I wanted to add something to her food that would possibly provide her more nutrition. It really helped her in terms of feeling more comfortable and satisfied, which made me feel better. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Short shelf life, though. I bought this with my cat was sick I really wasn't sure about it but my cat loved it and I have to say he got better I think it saved his life

I don't normally write reviews, but like many others here, I ordered this product out of desperation after our cat fell ill and was refusing to eat or drink for days on end. He does not like the smell and we had to feed it to him with an oral syringe. (Not a fun process.) The difference was noticeable within 24hrs. It was clearly giving him some energy he had otherwise lost. After a few days of use he was nibbling food and drinking water all on his own. I believe the formula works. Like some have described, it is a small bottle but there should be just enough in there to get your kitty through a week of sickness and recovery. I don't regret my purchase.

I'm sure it is a good product with Benificial ingredients to help cats recover from illness. My cat did not like the smell or taste so she would not eat it even when mixed into her wet food. I would tried giving it to her in a syringe, but the amount recommended per day is 3ml per pound of your cat. She would have needed 39 ml per day and that is hard to try and administer via syringe. I would probably try a product that comes in paste form next time I have a sick cat. I like the products by the brand under the weather for cats. Also once opened it needs to be refrigerated and lasts 7 days

This Recuperation Formula “ Virbac REBOUND has been my Life Line for my 20 yrs old Siamese Tabby cat. I’m on my third bottle! She is 6.2 lbs can only receive 18 ml due to her weight. February 12,2026 had stoped eating high caloric food force feedings, two wks into her taking the Rebound formula she is eating by herself appetite is back! She drinks it from the spoon! I started giving this to my 12-year-old cat who started losing weight and became a fussy eater. She usually doesn't care for any of the supplements I give her, but she took to Rebound right away. Now she sits at her treats mat and demands Rebound. I give her 5ml at a time with a syringe, 4-5 times a day. Slowly but surely she seems to be trending upwards in weight, and her appetite is gradually coming back.

This product definitely worked for my cat who hadn’t eaten properly in 5 days due to an infection in her digestive system, I tried everything to get her to eat but she kept on refusing. I couldn’t use a probiotic paste as she’d spit it out, but I bought a syringe for this product so the liquid could be carefully ingested easily, as I couldn’t mix it with food as she wasn’t eating. Within a few hours she went straight to her food bowl and a day later she is back to herself and eating normally! Definitely worth trying for a sick cat that needs a boost of nutrition and appetite stimulant. Smells good too and easy to use

Si votre chat a une baisse d’appétit ou refuse de s’alimenter pour quelconque raison vous pouvez lui donner du Rebound cela évitera que votre chat se déshydrate et lui apportera les nutriments essentiels qu’il a besoin . Car une chat qui refuse de s’alimenter plus de 24h peut être dangereux pour sa santé … de plus certains chats aime bien la saveurs et le prennent parfois pas eux même ! Le seule point négatif c’est que une fois ouvert le produit se garde seulement 7 jours et doit être jeté par la suite. Mais c’est toujours moins cher qu’une visite chez le veto !

Helped my dearest Loki gain a bit of energy and therefor normality, in his final few weeks with me. Expensive, but worth every penny.

To help other people reading through the reviews: I’m in Canada and received this product through Amazon prime without issue. Purchased August 2025, expiry is December 2027. My cat has many of the same issues others have listed here, basically the death spiral where they won’t eat, won’t drink and in and out of the vet/emergency three times now with subQ fluids. She is on appetite stimulants and pain medication yet this is safe to take with both which is great. The vet recommended it and I’m so glad they did. This product worked for us and she drank/ate it without any issue. I just called it a treat and I guess it tastes good enough to her (she’s picky so this is saying a lot). This really helped my cat recover and get to a place where she can eat on her own. I’m not sure about using it long term but for a few days/ a week I’ve used it without issue.
