I have not tried the inbuilt charger as I purchased a separate intelligent charger.The main beam produces a very bright white light that is zoomable and two separate spot lights that are also bright which can be combined with the main beam to produce literally a flood of light.Two things that need to be addressed are the whole thing is bulky and heavy, the batteries have to be big to be powerful and long lasting, but the lamps themselves could be packaged using less metal and plastic.Secondly, it would be really helpful to have a dim setting for the main beam for reading for example, it really is too bright at times.Apart from this I would recommend this item, its worth the investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great head torch at a good price *by K***R on 19 March 2018* This torch is very bright on centre lamp alone which lights up well for a fair distance - much better than expected. The lamps are quite large and do protrude outwards a bit but didn't feel unbalanced with the overhead strap. I found it quite comfortable and have used to light up the loft whilst working and also out in the garden at night. I will also carry it out fellwalking as a spare in the rucksack for when a larger circle of bright light is required over a longer distance (My normal walking torch is a lightweight Petzl Myo for extra long battery life on long night walks). All in all great value for money.
