it's too pricey

The Microwave looks great. Largely because it blends in very well with our other stainless steel appliances. The best part of the user experience is the simple timer dial on the front. The dial sits flush with the front panel until you give it a slight push, then pops out. So for the majority of uses, where you are zapping something for 15 seconds or so lets say, that's it... a quick turn of the knob until you get the timing you want. Easy peasy. No button pushing for time and mode setting. We find that the "Genius" mode is a little off the mark when it comes to defrosting, not going far enough, and requiring more time. But the end result is good. So the unit is highly recommended.The following is a note to the Amazon shipping department:When the oven arrived, it was placed in the Amazon box UPSIDE DOWN.To be clear, the external shipping box was in perfect condition, and arrived on my porch upright. All seemed good. The oven itself was packed upside down at Amazon. So, shortly after firing up the oven, it began to make a very serious sounding rattle. A quick dash to shut it off made it apparent that the noise was coming from the fan, as you could hear the ticking slow with the fan. Not good. As I lifted and tilted the oven slightly to inspect it, a slight metallic "clack" was heard. Some piece of metal had moved, away from the fan, and now a few weeks in all appears good. Still, in no way should an item like this be packed upside down for shipment. Something to be looked into by the Amazon shipping dept.

Excellent quality this is our second microwave from Panasonic and it did not disappoint. Control is easy to use. Settings are easy, popcorn setting burnt the first bag but then realized I could hit the button twice to minimize the time, turned out Perfect. love this product. Will definitely be buying another one.

Bought as replacement for previous microwave built into cabinet. The old trims worked perfectly.

My requirements were to find a microwave which fit in a shelf in our kitchen and had enough power. Finding a 1200W microwave that is not too deep is very difficult and this one fits perfectly in our kitchen.The sensor reheat and defrost work well. We mostly use the microwave to reheat food and less often to defrost. Both functions in this Panasonic work well. After 4 months of use we are happy with this purchase. Having the ability to disable the beep is an added bonus, although the option has to be reenabled after a power outage. We prefer the knob to adjust time and power, something we got used to with our previous Panasonic and are glad we found another with the same set up.

We had the same microwave in white forever, so we knew this was the one we wanted. So far so good and we didn’t have to learn how to use it again! 🤗
