Super cheap and reliable strings from a good brand
These are fantastic go-to guitar strings. I'm a causal player and have no need for fancy metals and windings, but I do like reliability and durability. D'Addario's a good and trusted brand, and at such a cheap price I don't really see a reason for me to get anything else. As for gauge, I personally love 10-46 on my LP style guitar (same as the stock ones). Super easy to bend after a few days of the strings stretching and loosening up.

These are budget strings but, overall, are very decent indeed. I initially had a problem which I contacted D'Addario about (via their website) and this was solved very quickly. and painlessly. Really great customer support! EDIT - still waiting on the promised replacements after 2 weeks, but hopeful!
