Review: Sugar Dry in 2 Boxes - When this brown sugar arrived, I opened 1 of the 3 boxes. Sugar was in good shape and of good enough quality. Later, when I needed to refill my container again, I found the sugar in the last 2 boxes had hardened. I was still able to moisten and use it (use a brown sugar bear or other terracotta disc), but it definitely wasn't as easy to work with. I have since found a different bulk brown sugar alternative. Review: Mostly ok - I bought two 3 packs of this sugar. Most of these boxes had some problems with being hard in sections but still usable. There was one box in particular though that was hard as a rock, I whacked it with a cast iron skillet to try to break it up but that didn’t help. I ended up treating it like cheese and grateing it with a cheap cheese grate I had. This is a problem with storage, maybe the bags aren’t as air tight as they are supposed to be. Just something to keep in mind, definitely more work than I wanted.
