Great buy for gaming
I've been using this mouse for a little while now for gaming, and have overall found it a great buy. Positives: - Lightweight - Simple design, no cheap plastic or stupid, cheap over the top gaming lights everywhere - Comfortable - I found that left click, right click and the scroll wheel require just the right amount of pressure - Good software, with a range of custom settings (including sensitivity and RGB lighting) Negatives: - I find the two side buttons are a little too easy to click. Sometimes when I'm browsing I accidentally press them with my thumb and end up going back/forwards in my browser or in File Explorer without meaning to. However, this could just be me not being used to a mouse with them present. - Nothing too impressive about the USB cable, which is a little bit disappointing considering that mice at an even lower price often have nylon braided cables which look and feel much better than a standard, plastic, grey cable, but not a big problem at all. Overall: Good value, well built and recommended for gamers (like myself) who are on a mid-range budget when it comes to peripherals.

Very pleased good FPS mouse.
This is about as simple and effective as a mouse gets. Smooth and comfortable for me a right hander who uses claw grip. It is nicely weighted so light enough for long sessions though not so light as to feel cheap. The movement is smooth and enjoyable with a good range of adjustability, the clicks light but confident. I have been using it as an FPS mouse in borderlands and COD, seems to cope well I have had no lagging or skips when used with the Kingmas XL mousemat. The mouse is plug and play so no set up required, the light is full RGB so any colour available and you can also change from pulse to off if you don't need or like it to light up.

Overall a solid mouse
I am switching from the logitech G403 to the SteelSeries Rival 110 mostly because the G403 mouse wheel was kinda bad at the start (possible the one i got wasn't well made) and recently it's become nearly unreponsive when trying to scroll. 1st impressions of the Rival 110 mouse is that it feels pretty solid. Things you to know when buying this mouse. 1. The build quality is pretty solid but it's nearly no frills. The rubber pads on the side help with gripping the mouse. The wheel is wide and has a nice click feel to it. The thumb buttons are thin. I usually prefer them to be wider/bigger but it's something I can get use too. 2. The mouse is small. I have medium size hands and find it on the small size. I'm mostly fine with this because I naturally hold the mouse with the claw grip. If your hand doesn't rest in this position or you have large hands I don't recommend the mouse for you. 3. The cord is not braided. This is fine if you are just having it sit on your desk at home. However if you are using it as a laptop mouse and bringing it with you make a note the rubber casing may break over time. 4. It is very light for a mouse. There's no expansion on the mouse for added weights. Again as personal preference I prefer a slightly heavier mouse. I also found the G403 to felt light. 5. The RGB lighting is basic and not gaudy. I prefer it this way and it's customisable to a certain degree with the SteelSeries software. 6. The basic standard DPI settings it came with felt low (around 2800) for me. It's easily adjustable after you download the software and change it. The mouse does feels reponsive and it's nice that you can test out setting in real time so you can alter it higher or lower as you test what you like. 7. The software you download through SteelSeries website is pretty basic and easy to navigate. It has a a lot of integration options with games and other software which seems cool but I doubt I'll use most of them. It would be nice if they had a setup wizard that could read how you use your mouse and gave your a customised mouse profile based off that. The price is a bit high for a basic gaming mice. However it seems like it checks the boxes for me when it comes to aboslute basics should have and how it should feel. I've only had it a day so I may update this after a few months use.

Great FPS Mouse | Excellent Price
The SteelSeries Rival 100 has side buttons on the left side of the mouse, though the shape is ambidextrous in design, and so there is no reason it couldn’t be used by left handed users. Though of course you won’t have easy access to the side buttons. Pros… - Great optical sensor (3059-SS) - Awesome rubber coating - No sensor rattle - Ambidextrous shape (side buttons on left side) - DPI Button - Small-Medium hands (palm/claw), large (claw/fingertip) - Weighs roughly 91g without the cable - RGB Lighting - Rubber cable (isn’t too stiff or flimsy) - Programmable buttons - DPI / Polling options - Textured plastic grip works well Cons… - Although there are DPI options, they are limited to default steps - Some people complain about accidently hitting the DPI button - Can’t change LOD This mouse has excellent performance and is quite cheap. The optical sensor is surprisingly good, and the shape leaves plenty of room for my fingers. In my opinion this mouse is great with claw grip and for FPS. I have included some pictures from multiple angles, as well as a shot with my other mice for comparison.

I found the mouse of my dreams!
This mouse is excellent! Having purchased the Gigabyte M9600 a week earlier and just not getting on with it; I decided to try this one and see if it was worth the extra £10. Well yes, it most definately was. In fact, it's in a whole different realm. Physically, it's a lovely size, comfortable to use and the shape feels very natural to hold. I spend a lot of time on the PC and this means a lot of mouse moving and clicking. I needed a mouse that was multi-functional in terms of accuracy, speed and comfort. I use it for gaming, design/photo editing and general work-related computer stuff. Cable length is great. This ticks all the boxes for me. There is excellent software to program the buttons on the mouse/alter the sensitivity etc., not included in the package, but easily downloaded from the internet and this also, is quite possibly the best software I have seen for any mouse. It's called SteelSeries Engine 3. Download it. For the price, it's outstanding and I honestly don't think I'll ever buy any other brand of mouse again.

Amazing product. Great value for money
This product is great. The mouse feels amazing to use and is very ergonomic. It is well designed as well as being well made. I use this mouse all the time and a lot of that is for gaming. The steelseries software allows you to change the DPI of the mouse giving the best response for you. The mouse also comes with 3 additional buttons. 2 near the thumb which are able to be bound to other keys or to macros; then one behind the mouse wheel which changes the DPI between 2 customisation settings. I have been using the mouse for 5 months and it is definitely one of the best mice i have used. I have had no issues with the mouse so would definitely recommend it to others. This product is also a very good price compared to other mice of a similar style and with similar features.

All you really need
I had been searching for a new mouse for some time. Generally speaking i hate large palm style mice and much prefer smaller narrower mice. I tend to grip the mouse on the sides with thumb and little finger doing all the work. This mouse if perfect for that sort of narrow grip. My previous mouse, a Redragon, was completely useless and had given way so it was time for an upgrade. The mouse if small, light with a sleek finish. Ergonomically it is perfect for those right handed people who prefer to control the mouse with little contact. The cable is not braided but that isn't necessary in my opinion (considering the price is £30). The best thing about the mouse is the precision. I could find no hint of acceleration, and my hand movements feel well tracked and replicated on screen. I do a lot of gaming and editing on a 1080p monitor and this mouse does the job brilliantly. playing Counter strike GO, COD, GTA V and for cutting out sections of clips in Sony Vegas Pro I would say the mouse is near flawless. The software is simple and easy to understand. It's easy to change each of the buttons or even the colour of the leds. There are only 2 drawbacks that i can find with the mouse if i am being objective. 1. The mouse has lift of movement drift. When you lift the mouse of the surface the sensor is still active. If you are the type of person that lifts off the move the mouse around the mat and make more room this may be an issue for you. For me my mouse never leaves the desk so it’s a non issue. 2. I don’t seem to be able to set custom DPI sensitivities. These seem to be at predefined intervals. I believe this is due to the sensor design and not the software but it is something to be aware off. I believe the steps are 250, 500, 1000, 1250. 1500, 2000 and 4000. However this was not of great importance to me. To summarise Pluses + • Ergonomics for right handed users • Precision • Aesthetics • Price • Software Negatives – • Set DPI intervals • Lift off Distance For about £30 this has to be one of the very best budget gaming mice available.

Great
The best gaming mouse I've had so far. I didn't feel like dumping £100 + for a gaming mouse, and this one, to my knowledge, has one of the best price to quality ratios. The laser is very good, the mouse itself is comfortable and has just the right amount of weight. It has only to extra side buttons, but for me, it's enough, since I mostly play FPS games, and this mouse is probably aimed mostly for FPS. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the laser is limited to certain increments of DPI (250, 500, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750, 2000, 4000), so you can only choose those sensitivities and nothing in between. But if you're looking for a good gaming mouse without spending too much cash and you don't need a lot of side buttons, this is one of the best options.
