家庭用のはんだ付け作業で、こての置き場を安定させたくて購入しました。コイルに差し込むだけの構造なので迷う要素がなく、作業中でもサッと戻せて安心感があります。台座がしっかりしていて重いので、机の上でズレにくいのも良かった点です。 スポンジが最初から付いているのも地味に助かりました。こて先の手入れが一連の流れで完結します。必要十分にシンプルで、結果的に作業がスムーズになりました。 注意点としては、こての太さや形状によっては相性があるので、手持ちのこてが「ニクロムヒーター系でこのタイプに収まるか」は事前に確認すると安心です。自分の用途（日曜工作）では問題なく使えており、価格以上に満足しています。

i use this for stained glass work. works as desired. too simple to have any issues. will probably get discontinued as planned obsolescence was not used with this item. it is well made.

The sponge pad is large and the base is like a paper weight which gives the holder stability. There is just a single coil but it needs an inner coil to isolate the iron from making contact with the single coil. There is risk of a burn from contact with exposed coil. It would be nice to have rubber feet on the bottom to prevent it from sliding on a smooth surface.
