takes a lil efffort to make it fit
the handle on my cane broke and it took me a lil while to find something to fix it with, had to do a lil trim work but after that I now have a cane thats useable again

Smaller diameter than I expected
I am a heavy man, 326 pounds, who needs a cane. I bought this cane handle thinking it would be one inch outside diameter to match the one inch wooden shaft that supports 500 pounds. This cane handle is only 7/8 outside diameter. It is only 1/8 of an inch different but that is enough to reduce the support load to 250 pounds. Other than that I like the handle design and have installed it on a 7/8 inch wooden shaft. It will serve well enough for help with balance but not for the rare time when I might need it when it supports my full weight.

The quality was fine but it didn't fit my cane and the vendor was very good taking it back for fun credit.
