On the product website, they say the epoxy dries "virtually invisible." Is that true, or does it have an amber tint?

Accepted Answer

Virtually invisible is a good description. It is translucent i.e. it appears to be the color it covers. It may yellow a bit as it ages or weathers. It hardens as a translucent material. It is 'VIRTUALLY INVISIBLE" as a newly applied thin coat.

Will it work for wrought iron staircase balusters instalation (between wooden handrails and shoe rails)?

When I've tongue& grooved two boards using System 3 and kept them in place with lag screws, I have to assume I can't ever remove the screws- the last time I tried, I sheared the head off a 1/4" x6" screw. The bond is great!

Is this two one quart bottles, or is it two half quart bottles?
