Well laid out, good details, easy to use
In planning for a trip to New Zealand, I looked for a guide to buy and found this one. I appreciated it so much that I purchased another copy for my daughter, who is also going on the trip. Very helpful!

Helpful and informative
Great pictures and region by region guide to great attractions and even places to eat. Wish it talked a little more about culture (preferably at the beginning of the book)

Out of order and made me miss important sights
Used this Dec 2023 as our exclusive guidebook. Was initially drawn to it with the photos and durability of the pages but when we were on the islands it was awful to use. It was not in a logical order and we missed things while driving the loop. For instance it would have sections about a region and then list activities or special spots in a random order which was not helpful. I actually resent this book quite a bit as it complicated the road trip. Next time going w a lonely planet.
