For amateur tile layer! *by M***N on July 29, 2018* Built and outdoor kitchen and we wanted granite countertops but did not want to pay the price so used 1 ft by 2 ft granite tiles. Used this product and kit to level everything and eliminate lipage due to slight variations in height and warpage using 3/4” ply with half in cement board over the top. Can not say enough good things about this product. Easy to use. Just left overnight and went back with the included pliers and applied more pressure the disposible raised part snapped right off. Nice clean evenly spaced level joints. Just dont apply too much pressure while placining initally when the white part starts to bow stop or they can snap prematurely wait till next day and a couple of clicks and they snap right off right below the surface ready for grout. Area in photo had about a 3/16 dip where thy came together and the clips completele elimiinated it.
