Pros- It's a level and works wonderfully at that. Has all three bubbles they work like every other level I've had in the past. it's a straight edge and made of Aluminum, so it's very rigid, heaftier than plastic, but lighter than steel. Cons- WHY DON'T YOU HAVE INCHES OR CM!? I mean, it's great to have a level, but when other ones have a ruler included, it begs the question why not put a ruler on this one? I didn't check the magnetism on it, but al typically doesn't attach, so I don't know if this would stick or not. I have 5 levels- Harbor Frieght (in picture) , 8" empire with 3 bubbles and magnetic, 48" empire with digital level (incredible if you can swing $150, like life changing for leveling and home DIY) and this Ox one that is 24" with no ruler. Ox seems to be a good brand- I have their tool belt that is mostly good (sans one thing) and this level is no exception.

Very very impressive level here The machining is absolutely perfect, not even one single burr, bend, deform or dent anywhere on it. Much thicker walls and machined flats than most I've tried , this makes my 24" irwin I got at the big orange store feel like a thin toy in comparison. When you're looking at levels to buy, polymer is your lowest quality frame, then theres I-beam aluminum then your higher end which this one is are Boxed frames, the boxed frames are ALOT stronger and much harder to dent or roll the edges if dropped. The top of top are solid billet aluminum but those are VERY expensive and very heavy. The spirit levels themselves on this are literally torpedo fast, VERY vibrant and extremely clear magnified vials with zero settling time. That nice instant response usually indicates highest quality spirits and fully vacuum purged so it wont split the air bubble if dropped, it is going to stay one solid bubble for many years or use, abuse or accidents. As far as the accuracy.... to be blunt, it's dead nuts accurate when compared against my billet solid aluminum engineering levels , klein digital levels and my 8" savage torpedo which is my most used on a daily basis. With an accuracy rating of 0.5mm that classifies this into the pro level tolerance range, lower end aka trade grade "basic handyman or framers" are around 1-1.5mm variations. You can find ones that are as accurate as 0.1mm but then you spending 200+ and those are mostly for machinist running lathes or cncs At this price point I'd of liked to seen some magnetic ability but they went with a higher quality build and much thicker tubing on the body and very thick tpu/rubber shock absorbers on the ends instead so it evens out. The paint/finish is a bit baby blue for my preference but its nicely applied and thick, I scraped a small chip off with a knife , kinda hard to see in photos but its about a index card deep, so plennnnty thick. For the what you pay vs what you get , this checks every single mark and delivered on every claim they make so easy 5 stars. NOT an ohhhh it was a vine thingy typical 5star review, I will never do those... this is a legitimate 5 star item, period.

This level is made with great quality and is easily read from a distance. It does have a bigger footprint than other 24” levels of similar size. The price point is higher than most every other level of this size & quality. It’s heavier than the other blue one in picture which makes it get less use as it’s cumbersome to hold up in less than favorable conditions. It also has absolutely no magnet on/in it- so it does not store easily as my others do. Which I just them up on a metal bench side and they stay there till needed. Its functions as intended and is accurate in its readings. Could be better, but I was most disappointed in the fact that it was listed as fifty seven dollars but when looking at my receipt it was charged out to me at eighty. It’s definitely not valuable at that price point and I don’t recommend for even sixty as the other blue one is half that price and much better build quality- plus has the magnet to store it easily.

I own a few larger levels, and this OX Tools Tuff Level (24") has honestly taken the top spot in my toolbox. It’s lightweight but feels extremely solid, and the one-piece aluminum frame gives it a durability that cheaper levels just don’t have. The acrylic vials are bright and easy to read, even in lower light, and the accuracy has been spot on so far. I also really like the shock-resistant end caps and the anti-mud design, which makes a big difference on job sites or outdoor work. It cleans up easily and doesn’t feel fragile. It’s a perfect size for most everyday tasks and reaches for it more often than my longer levels now. Overall, this is a well-built, professional-quality level that feels made to last. Easily one of the best levels I’ve owned.

I've used levels in my jobs for years now, and this level is a pleasure. It's not just a pretty face, it's very utile and from my informal testing it's pretty dang accurate. The visibility of the bubbles is quick and easy. The body is made of a decent aluminium alloy, and has reinforcing ribs and ridges for strength and stability. I tried it in a darkened room off in the corner and even in fairly low light the bubbles were visible, although it was definitely better with even a small light source. This proved to be accurate within a couple of thousandths, and that was probably due to a variance of my own making. The end caps are unexpectedly resilient, a 4 foot fall didn't affect the vials at all, and they get a definite grip when pushed to the wall. This piece is about the perfect size, I have the 24" version and it fits nicely in my toolbox drawer, and I can say from years of previous experience, it would have fit beautifully without contortion in my old truck tool box as well. In fact I'm thinking building a wooden toolbox, long and narrow to fit this and some of my other longer tools, drill bits, my jointer plane and even my short tools. Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.
