Desire 530 UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Solid White

I ordered this phone as it looked just what I wanted. Only afterwards did I go online and read the reviews. they were so negative I decided to cancel the order. Amazon said to refuse it but I did not as I did not realise it was the phone being two days early. So I looked at this little phone and it is terrific not so little either a 5" screen with clear bright colours, not amoled but not at all dull either. It does not lag and the camera is excellent (not full featured like a top of the range but very adequate) It is responsive and has nice to handle. The sound is very good. I was coming down from a high end Galaxy for financial reasons and this phone is everything I need. I am not a gamer but use it for most other stuff and would totally recommend it to anyone.

Less than a year after buying this for my mum the battery already has issues and runs out super quick! Waste of money! DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!

This is a great phone for a decent price. My only complaints are the size (it's just that little bit too big to keep in your pocket comfortably) - but it does fit well in the hand and is comfortable to use one handed- and the insistence of HTC sense. I do not want to use sense and have it turned off but I still get notifications asking me to turn it on for various reasons. That's annoying but i can live with it. Its a nice looking phone with smooth, rounded edges and a nice feel in the hand. The screen is big enough to accommodate a large keyboard for those who have difficulty with smaller builds and the graphic capabilities coupled with this big screen make games and videos look pretty stunning for viewing on a phone. The sound is also impressive- something HTC is known for. With or without headphones, sound is clear and clean. Excellent for listening to music, podcasts, audio books, radio, you name it; music is just as clear as vocals and doesn't sounds at all tinny like most phone speakers. In terms of being user friendly this phone is brilliant. Everything is easy to access and understand. I've had a HTC in the past and traded it for a Samsung. Big mistake. Having come back to HTC I don't think I'll be going back again. Everything is smooth and operates quickly with no fuss. Switching between apps is easy and pain free unlike some other phones which slow up with the effort. Overall I am really happy with this phone and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality phone on a mid-range budget.

An excellent phone for the price, works well, no need to install a lot of sms apps etc, the HTC shell works and is ok, solid, been reliable, and includes NFC, i would recc to anyone, DCA

Bought this phone for my Boyfriend, Has it a few months now, no problems with it at all, fast and reliable . Camera is good too

Awful phone that was slow when it worked, but it was only a couple of months before it developed an electrical fault.

I disliked the fact it was a HTC test device not a actual market phone!! The internet didn't work at all unless I was connected to a wifi and it wasn't my SIM card as I tested it at the three store I got it from and tried a working SIM card and nothing. The phone was generally slugglish and slow but that me be down to being faulty

Easy to use, good phone for the price.
