Best item I have bought in a while, works great!
This little stirring device works great! I bought it to create blended coffees, and it does that in a fantastic way. First, the end effector is braided wire, not blades, so it doesnt splash things everywhere (as long as you dont turn it on first and then submerge it). It has a variable speed, and I have noticed that it works well if tilted at a slight angle. Note; if you fill your cup to the brim it will tend to spin the liquid over the edge of the cup, so leave a bit of room (about 3/8"-7/16" is sufficient). Stick the end down into your cup, then push the button lightly, you dont need to jam it all the way because at high speed it may be too much. That may work very well for other purposes though, such as stirring something in a larger pot. For the coffee, the lightest setting works like a champ! Best money I have spent in a while, and it is inexpensive. Classy.

Not sure why the lower ratings?
I like to only buy things that have extremely high ratings but since all frothers seemed to have lower ratings, I bought it, regardless. Iโm not sure what someone couldnโt like about this bc it is perfect. It works great, does what it was made for and was a reasonable price point. What else could you want. I love it!

Gadget made me admit my husband was right
My husband wanted one of these, I thought it was a silly purchase that would sit never used. Well, thanks to this gadget, my husband finally heard the words that I was wrong and he was right. It all started after watching a video online. It was an excellent value so I reluctantly agreed to waste the dollars. It arrived, we put the batteries in, and wowza. This thing can whip up some milk in no time. Froth galore. Hot or cold. Looks nice, easy to use. Can press lightly for a slower stir or can press down and let it whip. I know I had a life before this thing, but now it's part of my daily routine. I use it every morning now for my coffee. I can add a little froth on the top and it helps my hot coffee stay hotter longer since it provides a top layer of insulation, not to mention the fanciness it adds to my coffee. Size is perfect for the drawer, not that it has ever spent time in there. It stays on the dish towel we use it so much. Good battery power. Does not come with a stand but who cares, it does just fine napping on the dish towel between uses. We even use it to make simple syrup, chocolate milk, mixed drinks, blend dressings, etc. Far from silly, definitely a game changer. One of my favorite kitchen gadgets now.

nice little hand held mixer
This little mixer works perfectly fine and for the money, it really can't be beat. We'll have to see if it lasts a long time, but so far so good.

MAGIC! Drinks Taste Incredible!
I mix milk, soy bean milk, tea, protein drinks, etc. It's not that I cannot do it manually, but I need to conserve the strength of my tired wrist for other things such as my job. That was the original incentive for getting this device. What I didn't expect is that it made the drinks more enjoyable. Protein drinks come out so much smoother and frothy. Never dreamed about a frothy protein drink before. My delivery came with a shiny metal stand. When I first laid my eyes on it, I thought that wouldn't be too useful. No, I needed to update my initial impression: It's very useful. It also looks great on my countertop.

Battery instructions can be confusing
The product actually works great, but I struggled a bit with the battery compartment at first. I'm a user experience designer, so I follow instructions to a 'T' because I figure they are written the way they are for a reason. Unfortunately, instructions are often misleading...some tips on that below. Other than that it works well, seems to have some power, but I couldn't figure out how to eject the whisk for washing. Looks like you simply have to carefully wash the whisk end of the unit by itself. Helpful battery tips: 1. The instructions are misleading: they say to PRESS DOWN on the battery compartment cover, then PULL it up by force. OK fine, so I go look to where I should be pressing as there is usually some kind of hash mark or groove to show you where. There is not, but I find a little notch with what looks like a button just north of the cover. So I'm standing there, pressing on the 'button', and pulling the cover part, because they appear to be two separate parts. I try using an object to pry it up. I'm using FORCE because it says to use force! Still no dice. Finally, I realize you have to stick your fingernail UNDER that little protrusion and it just comes up, as it is all one piece. THERE IS NO PRESSING, NOR FORCE INVOLVED. Wanted to put that out there for any other folks that might be confused by the instructions. The number one issue users have with products when they have a bad experience is that they feel like an idiot when they fail at using it, when typically it's the result of the product itself being confusing in some way. There's actually nothing wrong with the product at all, but the instructions send you down a rabbit hole of pressing and pulling that is unnecessary. LOL. 2. Other reviewers say they couldn't get the product to work despite putting batteries in. I had the same problem until I realized that you have to put the top battery in reverse placement direction to the direction of the bottom battery. The diagram on the inside of the battery compartment shows that the positive end of the battery should be put in pointing up towards the power button. If you try to put both batteries facing the same direction it will not work. The top battery must be placed in the reverse direction with the positive end facing down towards the whisk end and it will work when you press the button. Hope that helps.
