Ich habe einen sehr hochwertigen Marantz Verstärker und Canton A45 Lautsprecher und bin schlicht begeistert von dem Cambridge Phono Preamp. Der Unterschied durch den Preamp ist deutlich hörbar. Sehr gute Detailwiedergabe, eine tolle Bühne, saubere Höhen und ein kräftiges Bassfundament. Dabei ein absolut sauberer Klang ohne Störgeräusche, so sollten Schallplatten klingen. Der Nachteil der Geschichte ist allerdings, die kleine ist Kiste ist so gut, dass sie gnadenlos die Mängel in der Klangkette hörbar macht. Pink Floyd’s „Dark Side of the Moon“ klingt phantastisch, Mark Knopflers Fender schwingt glockenrein bis in die höchsten Töne und Johnny Cash auf den LPs von American Records nimmt den ganzen Raum ein. Großes Kino! Aber schlecht produzierte Platten machen keinen Spaß.
