With regards to the bluetooth connection for mobile phones, we found the sound to be not quite as clear but not sure if that is down to the mobile signal or the unit itself. It does sound if the driver is in the distance, even though they are a few feet from the FM Transmitter. However, that could be down to the position of the cigarette lighter socket, which is in the centre lower front dash panel and subject of a recess, so maybe that blocks the FM Transmitter speaker. That said, it still functions and conversation can be held but not always crystal clear. One final point, if you have a Ford Focus, it may affect your car key remote unit signal. We found if we left the FM Transmitter in the cigarette lighter the car key remote signal was diminished considerably and we had to literally walk up to the car, almost stand next to it to operate the car key remote. Once removed from the cigarette lighter the remote signal increase again. Not an issue or complaint just an observation. Mic is sensitive however it all depends where is your cigi lighter socket located in car. I use this on holidays mainly when I drive car which is not mine. In mine car I have much better one.
