Update: I planted this one and started another. They are growing! Last year I tried to grow from 10 avacado pit/seeds, had some growth from about 4-5, one by one they died. My best one lasted a year. I tried different methods I researched. This time I bought this vase and I can't believe how easily it's grown. I will say this time, I was going to throw away the avacado because it was bad, but decided to check it anyway and the seed had split and had a small root growing already. This is the nicest looking set up and easiest by far.

It's pretty cool, but way bigger than I thought it was going to be so barely fits on a windowsill shelf. Make sure you read the dimensions before you buy it because it's much larger than a typical avocado vase. I love it

I bought this to compare to my existing $60 Ilex Studio vase and it is a great value, looks almost the same and the price point makes it worth buying. I wish it came in different colors, and the only difference is the chamber (where the seed rests) is a little smaller than Ilex Studios, just be careful when tucking the roots into the bottom, it took a little patience to not break the roots. My avocado seed is prospering and I would recommend this brand, the glass is very clear, no cloudiness and is no thinner than the big name brand.

I really liked the shape and design of this product, however the glass is extremely thin and fragile. Unfortunately it wound up breaking a couple of months after purchase. Holds more water than many other vases but also a lot more delicate.

This is my second purchase of this vase, and this time I purchased two! Last year, I had great success growing my first avocado tree in this vase, but unfortunately, I had to move. I left my Avocado tree at the old house for the new owner, so now that I am all settled in, it is time to grow more! Being able to watch the process of the seed splitting and watcher the roots and tree grow is spectacular!

Had shipping issues with this item. Quality not as good as expected. Would not purchase this item again.
