Nice cap fit the old thermos just fine

I bought this for use with yerba mate and this works perfectly for that purpose. Opening and closing the spout is easy enough and the spout swivels within the cap for directional aim and will stay put once you do. This is perfect for yerba mate consumption or likely any other task you may have for it. It is not designed for gas exchange so expect the occasional "burp" to let in or out air when pouring. The cap appears study and I expect several years of unfettered mate use to come. At this point, it is highly recommend for the right thermos. The cap appears durable and likely to aid the retention of temperature like the regular cap. The appearance matches the cap that came with the thermos with the exception of foldable spout. Highly recommended!

I've been using it for about an hour and so far, it accomplishes the purpose for which I bought it. The stopper that comes with the Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle tends to dribble when the bottle is full. This stopper solves the dribbling problem, and so far at least, I've not noticed a problem with holding temperature (though it's only been an hour) and I've upended the bottle and shaken it and there has been no leakage. So on that front alone, it would be a five star review. The problem is that the liquid does not flow from the spout smoothly. It seems the vacuum breaker on the spout is not very effective, and no matter how slowly I try to pour, it can't seem to keep up. This results in little spurts of water as the pressure equalizes instead of a nice, smooth, even pour. It's not a big deal unless one of those spurts comes just as the water is nearing the rim of the gourd and the gourd overflows. See accompanying video. Knocking off a star.

A must for the thermos when having mate.

Doesn’t fit smoothly in the Stanley thermos and I burnt my fingers the first time I poured because water spurted out of the air hole. 30 years drinking mate and I never had this happen. My husband burnt his hand as well, same thing. It leaked from the screw part too. I need to buy from another brand. I use these all the time, but this one is just faulty and bulky.

Got one for myself, one for my sister, one for my girlfriend. Best mates I have ever had. If you are from the States buy the thing, it fits good, it is a good value, it does not leak, and after you have done that buy yourself a proper mate, and a bombilla, and drink it as it should be drank. I swear you add some matcha I'll be mad

Thread is too big on this, it makes scratches on the bottle when you screw it in.

Tuve una demora en el envío, pero finalmente llegó. El tapón está bien, cumple con lo que dice, no lo califico mejor por su precio, no vale tanto como lo pagué.
