I get a rated capacity of around 6700mAh and it's been through a few charge cycles now.Although there are no instruction in the box, there are plenty of guides on the web including on iFixit. On that site they give the task a difficult rating, but with the exception of removing the glue from the existing batteries it's not the hard. Access is quite easy, and it's just a matter of preparing a workspace and taking out (and carefully storing) the many screws in the right order. Some of the stages aren't really necessary, you don't need to disconnect the speakers, just remove the screws and push them a bit to the side for access.The glue can be difficult, but even force applied with the right tool will free the old batteries. I used some nylon bicycle tyre levers with an improvised pivot to slowly lift the batteries away from the case, which did the job in ten minutes.
