My previous ESV study bible had too small of print and the pages were too thin. So I was having a hard time reading the text because of the visible text from the other side of the page. This one is wonderful as the pages feel very substantial to me. i have not yet written in it yet and am in search of the perfect highlighter and pen to use but I am not concerned about bleed through.But for all the folks saying it has tissue paper thin pages, I feel they have not truly experienced tissue paper thin.One of the pictures attached shows my old Bible on the left compared with this new one. Just the transparency through the paper should give you an idea of how different (and better) the pages feel.I highly recommend this Bible if you are looking for a solid journaling AND study Bible. It really has everything I was looking for in one.
