This is the best gradual tanning lotion I have ever used. The lotion is very moisturizing so my skin doesn’t have that dry flaky look that can come from some tanning products. My skin is soft, moisturized and even. The products spreads easily and evenly and dries very quickly too. When you wake up in the morning you will have this amazing glow and color. No transfer on the sheets or my clothes. It smells amazing as well. I can’t say enough good things about this gradual tanning lotion 10 stars!

So I’ve used the Jeurgens (sp?) gradual tanning lotion, that kind usually takes upwards of a couple days-week to really notice an effect. I figured this Tanologist lotion would be similar, but it actually shows up really quickly, same day noticeable color. To me it leans more towards instant tanner, and it does sadly get streaky and orangey like most instant tanners. Should be used sparingly in all the usual spots- elbows, feet, knees, hands/wrists, and be sure to wash hands very well after using or they will be orange. The smell is very noticeable after a couple hours, at first it smells great like tropical, then segues into that familiar DHA smell. As for the firming aspect, I haven’t noticed very much difference, maybe a slight reduction of noticeable cellulite on my thighs, but it’s no holy grail. Overall it’s a pretty good tanner and I’d buy it again, probably in the lighter shade so it’s not so noticeably “fake”.

Best self tanner I have ever used! No odor! None! No weird tan streaks. Goes on beautifully and leaves you with the most natural sun-kissed color. No orange! No smell! Simply perfect!

Effective but don’t like the smell. Too much like cocoa butter - was hoping for something less “sweet” and more “clean”

Love it. Great smell. Dries fast. No streaking. The subtle color is buildable. I've tried alot of brands, high and low end, this is very nice. No crazy stink after the developing starts. No rub off on clothes. Beware around knuckles and toes and knees. I need to get better at that part. Stays on for several days. Not as dark as I'd like but definitely a tan.

I wanted this to work so bad that I risked using it a second and third time even coming out streaky the first time. I blamed myself for maybe bad exfoliation, uneven application, etc. I’m a white white white girl in AZ. I have been fake tanning 9/12 months of the year for the last 15 years. A spray tan is the obvious winner, but sometimes I need some color in a pinch. All the good working lotions I’ve come across that I can apply and head out for the day smell terrible though. Always staying hopeful, I will try new bottles hoping for my no streak no smell tanning lotion dreams to come true. I tried this as I’d normally apply tanning lotion = streaky I tried this using a very minimal amount = streaky I tried this applying liberally = streaky It gets 1 star for not smelling at all It gets 1 star for actually producing a great tan color It loses the other 3 for streaking.

This really creates a nice bronze tan on my fair skin with NO after smell at all. I live in South Georgia and work outside in my garden and haven't noticed any "day after" odor at all
