When I first got this pack I was apprehensive due to the comments about the taste and how their dogs didn't eat it. The first few attempts my dog didn't eat their food with it in, but I think that was because of how I was applying the powder to her food. I now put the dog food in the bowl, sprinkle half a teaspoon (not even that) and mix it throughly. Now my dog licks the bowl clean and I have a fussy dog when it comes to food. I am so grateful I persevered with this. With regards to the flees and ticks. So our dog is currently flee free for the first time since we got her (for some reason the monthly solution to her skin from the vets hasn't worked since we had her). This could be due to this powder, or the tablet I got from the vet. Either way, she is flee free, which I'm happy about. I'm going to continue with this powder, rather than the tablets from the vets to see if it keeps the flees at bay. 🤞🤞

Have been using this for about a week. I do use a spot on product once a month ( applying at the beginning of the month) but have found ticks on our dog, regularly two a day! She loves to explore long grass and we also have a large garden with lots of wildlife . Since using this product ( even if the whole meal hasn't been eaten) I have not found a single tick. Her poo has been fine too. The pouch is small ( we have a very large dog) but during tick season, I think it's worth the extra expense. For fleas and worms I will continue with our usual treatment ( with hairy cows ears as an extra natural dewormer) .

I really wanted this to work as I believe is a great alternative to medical treatment but my pup is a fussy eater and the smell it adds to his food resulted in loads of waste. Shame as I really believed this could be a game changer.

We have been using this supplement for just under 2 months, with a short break in the middle due to an upset tummy (unrelated). It smells like a nice curry powder and our dog had no issue gradually accepting it mixed with his regular food (raw beef), and finishing his meals. So safe to say he likes it. His coat certainly has improved (won best in show this past Saturday). The supplement claims to help repel parasites, and he certainly has not ever had any parasitic infections (before and during the supplement). However, we tried this supplement to tackle his issue with fleas which we had been trying to control with regular over-the counter treatments. While shampooing removes the fleas and eggs, disappointingly they return even after re-application of the monthly over-the counter treatments and continued use of this supplement, so I have doubts how effective it is as a deterrent of fleas which is what we wanted it for. Hence we won't continue with this supplement as a 6 month prescription of anti-flea/etc tablets is a lot cheaper and effective.

Product seems to work, better as contains no chemicals. Dogs seem to eat it happily. However very expensive

One of my dogs cannot keep standard wormer down, so I have been interested to try something different. I was surprised at how small the pack is, but I guess it will last a good while as I only have to administer a teaspoon a day. (the pack says a 'scoop' but so far haven't found a scoop included) The first thing that struck me on opening the pack was a massive waft of spices - it felt like I had opened a pack of curry powder - and it is a smell that rather lingers. I was slightly worried that the dogs wouldn't eat it. However, I'm pleased to report that they've been fine with it. I haven't noticed any negative effects on their poos, nor have I seen any fleas or ticks. That said, they have only been having it for about a week and it is still very early in the season (April). So I will have to see how we go once things warm up UPDATE Mid May: Pleased to report no sign of fleas or ticks, but it has only recently warmed up. However I have finished the pack in about a month - it claimed to be 50 days worth. The instructions say 1 daily scoop for my dog's size. There is no scoop in the pack but it does say 'or a teaspoon'. I have added a sparse teaspoonful every day and I don't think it has even made 30 days. I don't have anything that can measure the weight of such a small amount, but 2g does appear to be less than a teaspoonful.

High quality like the other supplements from this brand and our dogs love having it sprinkled on their food.

I'm a big fan of natural treatments for fleas and ticks and our dog regularly has ground pumpkin seeds to help the fight, but its not enough so I thought this A-OK9 Bug-K9 looked interesting as its full of lots of natural stuff including pumpkin seed. Its quite a small bag for £33.74 at the time of writing, but you only need to give your dog a small amount each day so it should last quite a while, and alternative treatments from the vets probably work out more expensive. It comes in a resealable pouch and is a fine greenish powder. It has a really strong smell of curry. Now our dog doesn't turn her nose up at much when it comes to eating, and will quite happily lick the curry plates as you put them in the dishwasher given half a chance, but unfortunately she just wasn't interested in it out of the packet - which is unusual. So I tried adding it to some food, and she ate all the food but avoided the bits where this powder on. Even when I sprayed the remaining powder in her bowl with salmon oil, she only ate it where absolutely necessary. So I can't give it a high score, because to work - or even to find out if it works, the dog does need to consume it. Given the relatively high cost too its a bit of a disappointment for us.
