Great Sandals That Are Unisex If You Know Women/Men Size Conversion - Plus Prime Wardrobe Is Great
Actually, I didn't really know what to expect with the size because I'm a man and these are women's sandals. A size 9 Keen fits me perfectly and I found a conversion table online that indicated women's shoes are 1.5 sizes higher than men's (Why the heck this is, I'll never know), so I took advantage of the new "Prime Wardrobe" feature (more on this later) to order two pairs of Keen's women's sandals. To be on the safe side, I ordered one pair, women's size 10.5 (These, the "Crabapple” model) and another women's size 11. The size 11 sandals were only slightly too long and the size 10.5 were slightly too narrow, so the conversion rule isn't perfect; but only "slightly" off. As I know these shoes stretch, slightly, with wear, I went with these 10.5 shoes and returned the others I love these sandal/shoes by Keen. They are comfortable, colorful, and very well made. I wear them year round, but they are particularly great in the summer because, like flip-flops, they allow your feet to breathe and stay cool, but remain in place and present no problems in term of walking or running. I already have three pairs and I've been on the lookout for more. They are by no means as cheap as flip-flops so I can't afford to indulge myself with other shades of blue, green, and brown (and Keen offer a wide variety of these shades plus other colors) so I've been looking for distinctly different colors. This Fig/Crabapple model caught my eye because of the color which is a little more of an orange shade than the pinkish shown in the photo (A good thing IMO). The problem was it is only offered in a woman's model. While there may be a difference in the design of Keen men's sandals and their women's version, I can't detect it, so it really only came down to the sizing. 10.5 isn’t perfect, but if they stretch only a little bit, it will be. I don’t foresee using my new found knowledge of shoe sizing to purchase a lot of women’s shoes for myself. For me, at least, it’s only applicable for shoes or sandals that are basically unisex to begin with and I think these Keen sandals are just that. A word on Prime Wardrobe: I assume, by the name, that it is only available to Prime Members but if you shop with any regularity you really do need to become a member. You will recoup the membership fee on shipping costs savings alone, plus you receive all sorts of great extras. Now Prime Wardrobe is one of them and it too is great. Briefly, you can order up to 8 articles of clothing and have them shipped to you within a few days. You pay ZERO $, and this applies to shipping too. After the items arrive, you have 7 days to try them on for size, judge the colors and designs in the real world, and do just about anything else you might normally do when shopping in a bricks & mortar retail store. If you want to keep one, more or all of the items, you don't have to do anything (although Amazon requests you go to your online order and indicate your intent to keep them) Whenever you advise Amazon you want to keep one or more items, or after seven days from receipt, you will be billed at the item's price at the time of your original order. If you decide not to keep something you simply return to the original order and indicate you are returning it. Doing so is a breeze. The items are shipped to you with a prepaid return UPS label and the box the items arrived in has a resealing sticker attached. All you have to do reseal the box (with the returns inside :) ) slap on the label and drop it off at your nearest UPS store. At no point is there any cost to you. Obviously the returned items can't be damaged or display obvious wear and you are supposed to return them in their original packing, but these are hardly unreasonable requirements. This is my first use of the feature and so I can't report on whether or not the return smoothly finalizes, but I've no concern that it won't. Amazon may have thought, when putting this feature together, that some buyers will not get around to returning goods they don't really want and will end up paying for them, but I don’t think it’s, at a major concept for them. I know this is a motivation of other retail sites that offer this sort of "Test For Free" feature but the one's I've seen, charge your credit card upfront and issue a credit when the returned goods are received, and/or make it unnecessarily difficult to return any items. This is definitely not the case with Amazon. Pretty sure that their primary motivation for offering this feature is to capture sales they might have been losing because the buyer wasn't comfortable purchasing items without a test-run. Unless something goes bad with the return (which I don't at all expect to happen) there is absolutely no trickery involved with Prime Wardrobe. I intend to use it all of the time from now on.

LOVE THEM: Exceptionally light weight, comfortable with lots of cushion, and TRUE TO SIZE
I do believe that these are going to be my absolute favorite Keen shoes yet. I love these shoes, and loved them right out of the box. (I ordered the KEEN Women's UNEEK Slice Fade Sandal in Magnet/Misty Jade, size 8.) I own many different styles of Keen, Teva, Chaco etc. The Keen Whisper sandals being my "go to" favorite for many years (I own 5 pair of Whisper sandals). After reading so many reviews, I really hesitated about what size to order, since some people advised to go up a half size. I don't understand this. I am a solid size 8 (a size 7.5 never works). I decided to order my normal size, and so glad I did. They fit perfectly. They're not even close to being too small, so I'm really not sure what other people are talking about. I'm kind of fanatical about not wanting my toes or toe nails to be crowded or touch the end, and these fit great without crowding my toes at all. Overall, the shoe is form fitting to my feet, but my toes are not crowded and these do not feel tight or constricting at all. They are very flexible, allowing complete freedom to stretch my feet and wiggle my toes etc. The foot bed is anatomically molded with very nice arch support. The shoe itself is very light weight and exceptionally comfortable. The foot bed is soft, smooth and cushion-y (not hard or firm at all). Everything about the shoe feels kind of soft and light ... nothing that might chafe or rub a blister. The sole is thick but it's also extremely flexible. So no issues walking on rocks, pebbles, or uneven surfaces. (I have some Brooks minimalist running shoes that I can feel everything with.) My foot is a normal width, if anything it would be on the narrow side (and I am not over weight, if that matters), and these shoes look and fit great. I would say that these may not have as much of that wide / "natural foot bed" shape that some people love about some Keen styles. That's one reason that I love these, and also like the Keen Whispers ... they are not as clunky or bulky as some other style Keen shoes. I have a pair of Teva Women's Hurricane XLT Sandals that I also love (molded foot bed with cushion and soft straps with nothing poking me) but they are that wide clunky look, and much wider (and heavier) than these. I am pleasantly surprised with the color I chose as well. I ordered the magnet / misty jade. I am not a fan of that light jade / mint green, and like the overall look of these much better in person than on the screen. Truthfully, I can't see the jade color in the cords at all when they're on my feet, and the lace cord just appears to be an almost iridescent light gray color. The only place I can see the jade green is on the bottom of the shoe, the stripe on the side of the foot bed, and the color insert in the foot bed (covered up by my foot).... So no one looks at my feet and thinks that I'm wearing candy cane striped mint green shoes. The appearance is more of a white / light gray cords and dark gray. The dark gray faux leather material that the top and heel is made of is very soft and suede like feeling. I do wonder how well it might hold up over time with wear and water exposure (my Whisper sandals have really taken a beating and still going strong). I'll just have to wait and see. In the mean time, I love these, would recommend these, and will buy again in another color!

Love these sandals
For years I have been looking for a sandal that covers my toes, stays on my feet securely, comfortable, and doesn't look like I took them out of my grandmother's closet or just climbed Mount Everest-- which were the only sandals that checked all of those boxes until now. I was a little worried with some of the photos that they would make my feet look like those of a platypus, but they are actually cute and more conforming than they appear in the pictures. If I can offer some input though I would say the same thing that others have said in the reviews-- go up half a size from your normal. I'm not going thru the hassle to return them, but they are snug and I would have been much happier with a little more room. Hopefully they will stretch after some wear. I will definitely order these again!

Best dog beach shoes!
I've taken my dogs to the beach for over twenty years, and I'm always looking to upgrade my footwear. I saw a photo of the funky rainbow UNEEK online, and since I have another pair of Keen shoes that I like, I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. Whereas my other Keen shoes run large -- I usually wear a size 11C, but the Keen 9.5 fit fine -- the UNEEK runs true to size, even a bit small. I have a high instep, and initially worried that I wouldn't even be able to get the shoes on my feet. But with a little coaxing, I stepped into a snug-fitting yet comfortable shoe that gives plenty of support. The UNEEK really excels when walking in the water or on wet sand. I always feel I have a sure footing in these shoes. They don't come loose. And the thick soles give plenty of protection and traction. They're even comfortable when I'm walking with wet shoes on dry land, or driving. Highly recommended for anyone who needs amphibious shoes, especially beach people!

Very cool and comfortable for town walking and sightseeing, and they conceal ugly toes. They look surprisingly funky. I got them for a very good price, and consider them to be excellent value. I wouldn't wear this style for all-terrain hiking as there wouldn't be enough protection for my toes, but I'd certainly consider some of the other styles in this maker's range for that purpose.

Comodissime scarpe ergonomiche ma allo stesso tempo moderne e stilose, belle con abiti di lino per la prossima estate. Ne prenderò di altri colori.

First Keen shoes and I am overly impressed by the level of comfort. I wear this out for work, outdoor walks and for casual wear. Surprised by how fast it dries up (got caught in the rain) and leaves no odor. Recommend this for minimalists who want to lessen the number of footwear. Recommend this for those who love wide cut shoes. Recommend this for travellers who need a daily go to shoes.
