I absolutely love my new brush! I did my research, read all the reviews in about every hot round brush out there, haha! If you know how to use a round bristle brush, this does not stick in your hair. If you don't know how, you need to learn. The color is incredible, I bought pink. The tip works perfectly so I don't touch anything hot, plus the bristles themselves do not get hot. I do not need the glove. I use this hot brush to straighten my hair. I am in menopause (oh joy!) and I'm hot all the time. I used to use a round brush and a hair dryer, but this is so much cooler! I have just below the shoulder length fine, wavy hair and long bangs. I first bought the 1.5, and returned it for the 1.77 to as it works a little better as a straightener and volumizer for my long bangs. UPDATE: I just checked My regular round brush is 1.5" - the hot brush needs to be a little bigger because you roll it up a little more to keep hair on it so your hair heats up!

My daughter has coarse hair that was previously bleached for a few years. It took lots of work to get her brown back. I cannot believe how shiny and healthy her hair looks with this tool. It doesn’t get nearly as hot as other tools but really works miracles. She also conditions her hat with Moroccan brand cocoa colored conditioner and I think that’s why it’s doing so well. Hope this helps someone try this tool. We love it. Her hair is the video, while the second photo is of my hair which is naturally dark, limp and straight.

Product works well I just thought it curl a little more than it does.

I had a previous Calista product I liked, with adjustable temperature, which disappeared from the manufactures current products. I thought this product might replace it, but was sincerely disappointed. It has one temperature which will definitely burn your hair and hands (and anything it comes in contact with), and is cheaply made. Sorry I tried it.

I like the fact that it is simple. Easy on and off. No fiddling with settings. Perfect and I could use with one arm. I had surgery and it was a life saver. Takes my kinky hair and makes it smooth and shiny.

There’s only one temperature setting- 365*. You can’t change it. It just feels too hot for my hair. I’m a natural blonde and my hair is fairly delicate… not fragile or damaged, but just delicate. I feel like this styling brush causes breakage. I can see the broken-off hairs in the brush after just barely running it thru my hair…much less trying to use it to curl, straighten or add a blowout type volume. So I guess this will depend on your hair. I always use a heat protector on my hair before any type of styling and haven’t had issues with breakage from other styling tools. 🫤🤷🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

This is easy to use and does exactly what I wanted. The only thing is you really need to use the glove it comes with. It can burn your fingers.
