Cuisinart CRBW-33B Chef's Classic 33 Inch Bar Style Wall-Mount Pot Rack
I have recently mounted this in my "La Petite" 50's kitchen and I Love it! I actually purchased this two years ago but it was never mounted when I realized that the site I had decided upon did not have studs to mount it on. It was forgotten in storage until recently when I re-discovered it while cleaning. It was not hard to hang this one piece bar. The most time consuming part of the task was actually finding a good spot with studs. It is currently hung over the window of my kitchen sink and is holding 6 pots of various sizes, a 14 inch grand griddle, 5 mixing bowels, 3 various sized fry pans, a steamer, a wok, and collender. All of these items are made from stainless steel and/ or copper are VERY HEAVY. There is also a wooden bread board, drying herbs, and strings of peppers hung up. The rack remains tight to the wall and does not appear strained in any way. The rack is a heavy gauge stainless steel with a brushed finish and should really last a lifetime. The price was good at less than a third of many of the racks that I looked at. I purchased the Cuisinart brushed stainless steel pot rack hooks #CRUH-6 to use with the rack. They are the perfect size and weight and hold the pans at an angle so that more items will fit on the rack. The original 4 hooks which came with the rack were lost so I cannot comment on them. However, 4 would never have been enough anyway. This simple bar pot rack has done wonders for my kitchen! Besides freeing up much needed space it fits perfectly in the little space that I have. I no longer need to store pots in my stove due to lack of space. I can immediately hang up my pots and pans after washing as well so a dish drainer is not needed. It is a visual centerpiece which has breathed life into a less than ideal kitchen! Highly recommended! Update Oct 2017: Still love the pot rack. I have purchased new pots and pans and everything fits really well. Mounted near the ceiling over the sink it is not in the way, provides much needed storage for pots, pans, utinsils, bread boards, and mixing boards and adds a lot of visual warmth. Great for a small kitchen, you just can't go wrong with this.

For my kitchen
This is a very rugged unit once I mounted it on the wall in my kitchen it can hold the heaviest pots and pans itโs perfect for displaying my shiny revereware pots and pans I also have a very heavy set of no stick large and small pans hanging from it. I love it because itโs easy access instead of having to put them away in a cupboard. I highly recommend this. It also seems to dress up the kitchen, a little more, looking a little bit more professional.

Cuisinart Bar-Style Wall-Mount Pot rack is super sturdy and well designed.
The Cuisinart 33 inch wall mount pot rack is super sturdy and holds numerous heavy pots and pans with ease. Importantly, the screw holes for wall mounting are 32 inches apart so sizable lag screws can attach to the center of wall studs (commonly 16 inches centered apart). The pans hang from hooks that can be slid along the metal bar into different arrangements. The pans hang from the hole in the pan handle and the pan itself rests on the wall beneath. To prevent the pans from scratching the wall I tacked a vinyl sheet (shelf liner) beneath the rack. The bar is a few inches from the wall that provides a space to put pan lids on top as well.

Defective? Nope!
It may sound funny but I'm really hoping I got a defective product because if they have modified the design, they really messed up. The product shown here (and in the included installation booklet, for that matter) has four long screws and two short screws to be used to install the unit. The short screws are used to attach the hanging brackets to the shelf and the four long screws are to be used to attach those brackets and two holes in the shelf itself to the wall. A logical (and simple) installation technique. The problem is that my shelf came with only four long screws. No short screws. AND no holes in the shelf to attach those short screws! The way it's made, I *could* attach the brackets to the two existing holes using two pf the long screws (which would be ugly but workable) but then I could only attach the brackets to the wall with the other two long screws. I couldn't fasten the shelf itself to the wall at all. Two screws, even driven into the studs of the wall, would not be sufficient to hold much weight and the whole point of the shelf is to hang pots, which can add up to quite a bit of weight. And I suspect the brackets would break off too, considering the strain that would exist on that joint. (If you've followed me this far, you're braver than I would be). I called Cuisinart's Help Line. I spoke to a nice young woman there who said she would check to see if the design has been changed and get me some new installation instructions if that is the case. It will take about 5 business days for her to get back to me about that. Not what I'd hoped to hear but I guess it's not an emergency for me to get my pot rack hung. But unless I'm missing something (I'm not an engineer) I don't think I want to hang this pot rack as it's currently designed. If it turns out that this is not a defect, I think I will be taking it to a machinist and having those two missing holes drilled. I will go to Home Depot and get the small screws that are missing and hang it as the included directions describe. I could just send it back, I guess but I love the product. It's beautiful and heavy duty and I know that once it's hung, it will be exactly what I was looking for. Stay tuned... Back again -- Okay. I'm a dope. After speaking to customer service and having them tell me that there has been no modification to the design, I took a closer look at the unit. Everything I need to mount this shelf is there. In my defense, the "short screws" referred to in the directions are actually part of the shelf unit, little nubs that protrude from the back of the shelf itself, and not really separate screws that would go through holes, as you would expect (and as the directions illustrated). I'm anxious to get this installed, now. It really is a beautiful pot rack/shelf. Eight years later-- I love this pot rack. It's been installed in my kitchen for eight years with no issues at all. I have a full compliment of pots and pans, mostly heavy stainless (e.g., All-Clad) plus a few nonstick aluminum plus a huge cast iron griddle. All quite secure, hanging from the hooks. I don't plan on moving but if I did, I think I might take this pot rack along. Buy it. You'll like it. One star deducted for not having idiot-proof instructions.

Elegant, sturdy and functional hanging pot rack at a great price for stainless steel
As I said ... Elegant, sturdy and functional hanging pot rack at a great price for stainless steel! When I got my new pans (clad type), (which replaced steel on copper base remnants from 10 to 18 years ago that were de-laminating causing things to never boil or fry well!!!), I decided to hang them instead of using the two large kitchen drawers I used before with dividers. I looked and looked and my thought was that this is a very simple, timeless, secure and long lasting design. The octagonal shape is distinctive compared to the usual oval, although rectangular was also a favorite - and it would be good if the company offered the latter to hang their pans. I mounted the hanging rack centered parallel to my second kitchen window close to the stove and over honed 'black' granite (first window is over the sink) which is also illuminated by two small recessed cans also parallel to it about two feet away. I wanted the rack to hang almost equidistant between the cans and the window and parallel to both. (I know, a picture is worth a thousand words ugh!) To do this, recognising the large hooks, weight, and my not wanting chains hanging from rafter to rafter to hang the rack from (which are parallel to the window, 2 cans and countertop), I installed a 2x4 assembly in the attic very well attached to the rafters to make it so. [This is no fault of the rack, I personally blame the builders for not anticipating I would want to hang a rack where I did some 40 years later! (Hahaha!!)]. I believe I used a 1/4" drill bit for the pilot holes so I could screw the hooks into the additional framing in the attic; either way, when you mount it, select a drill bit equal to or slightly less in diameter than the shaft (i.e. the part at the center of the screw threads) of the hook screw. I installed the hooks and hung on them (180lb), no problem. The rack is easily holding: 1, 2, & 3 qt. saucepans, 2 x 8" skillets, a 10" skillet, a 12" skillet, an old 6" skillet for eggs, a Dutch oven, a stock pot, and a saute pan, and a splash guard. Not bad at all. The ONLY problem I have with the rack is balance because it is a two support design. Because the rack is by a window, I have the heavier items towards the window and it leans backwards. To solve this, a thin grade chain (similar to a small dog neck collar/choker) was installed on one of the hooks and attached to a bolt which supports the grid/shelf; it no longer leans. I do not see this as a product flaw since the instructions do state to balance the rack and it was clear to me it might be a potential problem. Other ways to solve this might be to rotate the ceiling hooks to prevent the lean or somehow clamp the hooks to the hanging assembly.

Great Product/Disappointing Service By Amazon
Cuisinart CRC-29B Octagonal Hanging Cookware Rack The Cuisinart CRC-29B Octagonal Hanging Cookware Rack is a great option to conveniently hang a dozen pots, pans, steamers, double boilers up within easy reach of kitchen surfaces and to free up some premium kitchen cabinet space. The rack is easy to assemble and simple to use. The eyes of the hanging bracket are 16 inches apart to match ceiling rafter spacing. The stainless-steel frame is tapped to accept four screws that support the mesh-work. I store lids for all of the pots and pans on the mesh-work; freeing up additional cabinet space. It is also easier to put cookware away, by hanging them after cleaning up; than trying to fit them back into kitchen cabinets. I was worried whether I would regret the visual impact of using this product in my kitchen; but my reaction has been completely positive to it. My only disappointment with this purchase was that Amazon sent me a unit that had obviously been used and returned by another customer. I paid full price ($84.38) expecting to receive a brand-new item. The product's package had been torn/broken open and taped shut by the original purchaser upon return. The assembly/installation hardware had been returned in a Ziploc bag. There were no instructions included in the returned box. The rack was scratched/marked where the screws had been tightened down by the original purchaser. In my opinion, if Amazon is reselling returned or used products; they should advertise them as such and rehab the packaging to be sure that instructions and all small parts are included. I am mechanically inclined; so I was able to assemble and install this product without instructions, and I knew that the marks from the original assembly would be covered by the screws when I assembled it; but why should a great customer (multiple weekly purchases through Amazon), or any customer, have to deal with this less than great level of service. After one year I continue to be extremely satisfied with this product. There have been no problems at all, and seeing the cookware hanging has actually motivated to cook for myself more frequently than I used to.

Calidad Excepcional

Looks good, Super Heavy Duty.
I love this rack. I have more than a dozen pans including some heavy large cast iron skillets on it, and it stands up like a champ. Great way to store pots and pans that are frequently used.

Attractive and very useful
So far so good. Bought this because I live in a small condo with very little cupboards to hold all my cooking equipment. This seems very sturdy and it does look good.

Excellent storage of pots and pans
Very well made and looks great. It hangs 8 pans and has three large pots on top, as well as a range of sieves and lids. Worthwhile note, you need solid mounting points, not just drywall anchors. I was lucky that the place I was mounting it had a solid timber Lintel (header) above the window.
