Kiara Sky is my favorite thus far because it has a bottle of “Bond” and I have had ZERO issues with my brushes clumping. I wanted something thick to put on my nails to hide the damage and make them feel stronger. I know that technically this system is still acrylic, but the difference is you don't have to grind down your natural nails, it comes off much easier, and it is much thinner and more natural looking. I have done my own nails now 5 times. The first 4 times were with Color Dips. I purchased that at Ulta. This time I use Kiara Sky for the first time. I love the colors and how smooth it went on. Maybe it is just getting used to the product but I had much less lumps and imperfections that needed to be sanded down. I purchased the 4 step liquid and the brush saver. I love the shape and size of the bottles. The liquids all go on very smooth. I purchased 3 powders as well. In the picture I have Rose Bonbon on with Tahitian Princess on my ring fingers. The Rose Bonbon is a great nude color. It is a brownish purple color. The Tahitian Princess is a great glitter. I love the depth of the sparkles. The way it looks in the sunshine is just stunning. I used three coats of powder to acheve the look. I love that it is not too thick but makes my nails super strong. Instead I have 2 Sealants. **Q: If i understand correctly this isn't a gel system, so how long does this last? I'm pretty hard on my nails & need something that wont lift/break off.** A: This is NOT a gel system this is a dip set. However this is the best dip system I have tried and I’ve tried many. I am extremely rough with my hands at work and my nails will last a couple weeks. **Q: I hate using traditional types of top coat from these kits...is there a led/uv top coat that won’t peel from dipped nails?** A: Yes. If you use the Kiara sky gel top coat and cure with the uv light it works fine. Just make sure that before applying the top gel coat that you do not smooth the nail out. The nail needs to be rough so that the gel can adhere to it. I would definatily purchase this again and plan on it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by B***S on June 2, 2019* I decided to purchase my own set for dip manicures to save money on my trips to the salon. I have never been very good at doing my own nails (especially my off hand) but I figured "what the hell". The attached photo is my first time and while it took me WAY too long it looks halfway decent and overall I think that the powder system is pretty forgiving. For reference I did 3 dips of the purple powder, smoothed it out with the drill, and followed it up with 2 top coats. I did find an download some more in depth instructions from Kiara Sky and those helped me out. I did have an issue with my second coat of top coat starting to harden the brush, which is odd since it didn't stay out of the container long. I may look into other top coats in the future, but it was still usable. I recommend purchasing a nail drill if you are doing your down dip manicures, with it I was able to easily fix *many* of my goofs and make my nails look halfway decent. Also, and I may be doing it wrong, after applying the first sealer liquid (prior to using the drill) my powder was still a little "wet/mushy". I am not sure if that is normal, I kind of freaked out and tried googling it but by the time i figured out no one else had that issue I tested my nail again and found it had hardened right up.
