DIY RC Parts Kit - Make Anything into a Remote Control Vehicle

Great for the kid that likes to create, tinker and build!

This is a pretty cool kit. It was almost exactly what we were looking for to use with my kids invention club. Only issue we had is that the motors are weak. Upgrade the motors and this would be an awesome kit. If you're going to use it for something very lightweight it would be good

These are meant for kids, sure, but I bought a couple sets anyway. These are a great way to learn how to 3D model and print hardware to fit these components. Very easy to use, and the useable control range is about 100 feet.

Remote control broke the 3rd time I used it. Motors are really slow, plastic pulls off the spade connectors. Save the money and buy these parts individually.

If you're looking to get into some do-it-yourself RC design this is a good starter kit. The controls are accurate and work well even from a distance. You get a decent variety of motors and servos to make just about any basic remote controlled project. The motors are high quality and react well. I would definitely recommend this kit especially for the price since you get quite a few gadgets. The controller feels a little cheap, but you can get another controller on the same band and replace it if you need better controller response. Shipping was much faster than listed. I expected it to take months to get here, but it was only a week or so.

We got this set for our kids science project and were not disappointed. The instructions were a little vague, but it is pretty straightforward to put together if you use your own intuition. I was impressed with the speed and the battery life of this set. This is a great quality set and worth the cost.

I quickly turned a food container bottom into a cool RC food container. The kit assembly is super easy. You can figure out how the wires are grouped by the pictures in the simple directions that are provided. You can turn anything you want into a remote-control thing. The box comes with everything you need, including double-sided stickers to affix your motors and battery pack the thing you are converting to remote control. There is also a solid antenna you can use to increase the RC distance. If you want a neat project to share with a younger rc beginner, this is the way to go. Loads of fun, science, and creativity.

I received this DIY RC Parts kit to review. What's not to love about it? Nothing inside is truly "high quality" or "amazing" but they are all functional. It is really kind of cool to be able to make anything (within reason) into an RC vehicle. Assembly was as difficult as you would expect, this product is not for younger kids. My 9 year old did great with it, our 4 year old just wanted to drive it once it was done. The Remote Control is cheap, and not anything particularly sturdy, but again, it works. Definately a fun project to do with your kids but do not expect it to last a really long time.
