The lid cracked within a week of daily use. I would brew the coffee in a cup and not directly on to the lid. Inspite of that, the lid cracked. They should think of making the lid stainless steel as well! Or offer replacement lids.

OK, this thing (the stainless steel model) is awesome. Got it for my wife, who loves her coffee but hates watered-down iced coffees in the summer, and she thinks it's great. Easy to use, chills your drink very quickly, and the steel model won't crack. If you're thinking you'll like it, chances are that you will.

I have a Nespresso and lovvve my iced coffees! This is perfect! I can add a cube or two to my drink but this ices the coffee in 2 mins and it’s still the perfect strength espresso not watered down. Ensure that when rinsing to place back in freezer to use cold water or your middle will pop and make a dent. Otherwise no complaints, easy to wash, and easy to rinse and use over and over between washes. Warning if you have a Nespresso tho! It doesn’t sit perfect under to guarantee the coffee goes in hole so watch it! 😂

Purchased this to make iced coffees at home. We usually brew Nespresso coffee (230ml or 7.77oz) cup, let cool a few minutes and then pour into the Hyperchiller. It does advertise that the coffee and be brewed directly into the cup, however, we have not tried this as several other reviews have mentioned a problem with cracking. The coffee gets poured into the chamber from the top. Works best to swirl around a bit and cools within minutes. We give it a rinse and wipe dry and pop it back into the freezer till next time. It was a gift purchase - not sure if I would usually justify spending this amount on a cup. It does speed up the chilling process and eliminates watered down coffee. We have been using this cup for 2 months without any cracking issues. It is also great for chilling other beverages, although pop is not as fizzy after pouring into this cup and then back into another cup for drinking.
