If you need to cut grass on a yard that is smaller than, say, the Ponderosa Ranch from Bonanza, then this is your guy. Pros: it's lightweight to transport and push; it's easy to assemble (4 bolts and wingnuts, two clips, and two foam handles); it's sturdy and well-constructed; the blades have adjustable height; and, finally, it's incredibly effective and does a great job. Kudos to whoever wrote the assembly directions with pictures so simple even I could follow them. I appreciate that the instruction manual didn't assume I knew how to screw in a wingnut and featured examples of the right way and a wrong way. Cons: took one star off because the bag attachment is flimsy and unnecessary.

We bought this to do a newly soded very small piece of yard in our condo as the lawn crew's equipment was damaging the grass with their equipment. After two cuts, the blade started to squeak so loud that we were unable to use it without offending the neighbors. This is a metal on metal screetching should that appears to be coming from the end of the blade where it fits into the housing. I'm going to try to force lube in the ends to see if that quiets, it but the only fair thing in my mind is to return it for a full refund and to caution anyone else thinking of buying one to consider a better model.

Product works okay for thinner grass, if you have thicker grass you’re going to have to do 500 passes before it cuts. The grass gets stuck at the attachment points and is a pain to untangle. Don’t buy used, they dont give you instructions on how to put it together. I basically got a box full of parts and had to figure out how to put it together myself by looking at the pictures on Amazon of the product. The “set up” video on the item doesn’t help either. At the very least, if Amazon is planning to resell used products, that have already been opened and used by other consumers they should have to be required to include instructions on how to put it together. You have new ones available for sale so why can’t you just take a photocopy of those instructions and include it in the box of the used one? Very obnoxious, very annoying. What’s the point of having a “set up” video that doesn’t actually show you how to set anything up.

I don’t have any pictures (was too excited to use) but we have a Jumanji yard happening. This mower cut it down with such ease. We hard a large front yard on a hill. Sticks get in the way so be careful about that. If you’re looking for a low cost, efficient push mower: this is it. No fuel and no charging. Just get a sharpener to keep the blades nice and sharp. Assembly was easy and took 20 minutes. Pros: lightweight, durability, quietness. Cons: non so far.

Cuts better than my electric, 20V mower and the gas powered ones I've owned in the past. Easy to assemble, very quiet and moved effortlessly through even the tall garden grass. I am happy I purchased this, before they all sold out. All of the parts were included and the thing moves very well. I actually purchased it just for my smaller front yard, but ended up mowing the back as well. Blades are nice and sharp and the whole thing just looks well built.

Pros: affordable, no cord/battery/gas/oil/exhaust, and you get to exercise Cons: pushes a lot of grass down rather than cutting it, a lot of cut grass doesn't end up in the catcher, not very maneuverable, can't mow small twigs or even suck up leaves I bought this because I got new fescue (Marathon II) sod in a small backyard. I thought a little bit of exercise and a lightweight mower would be a good idea, note that I've used all types (manual push, corded, and gas in the past). That was a mistake. As other reviewers have stated, it pushes a lot of the fescue blades down. Even double or triple mowing at 90 degree and 45 degree angles doesn't solve the problem. Maybe sharpening the blades would help, but I think it's a design flaw. Also, the mower is a pain to turn around, making it a poor choice for my small but oddly shaped yard. And, by my estimate, only 60% of the cut grass stays in the catcher. Even with a small yard, the catcher fills up very quickly, and if you're not careful, the grass it does catch can spill out of it if when you turn. By the second mowing, it was already squeaking loudly, though some lubricant fixed that issue. TLDR: don't buy. If you do, make sure to keep the box so you can return it within the 30 day period.

Bis jetzt habe ich den Mäher zwei Mal benutzt, bin zufrieden und auch positiv überrascht. Wenn er bei euch ankommt, müsst ihr ihn noch eben zusammenschrauben. Es ist eine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung in Bildern dabei, auch wenn man noch nie so einen Mäher zusammengebaut hat klappt es damit wunderbar. War wirklich schnell gemacht. Was schwierig geht und (mich persönlich) Nerven gekostet hat, war diese weichen Handgriff Schnuffies aufzuziehen. Da geb ich ehrlich zu, hab einen 3/4 drauf und den anderen ganz gelassen, war mir jetzt nicht so mega wichtig und ich habe so oder so Handschuhe beim Arbeiten im Garten an. Vom mähen her, die Klingen sind ja schon auf einer bestimmten Höhe eingestellt, das habe ich erstmal so gelassen (kann man aber nach justieren - ganz nach Gusto in einem bestimmten Schnittbereich) Das erste Mal dass ich überhaupt mit so einem Gerät hantiert habe. Hab ihn also auf den Rasen gestellt und bin Mal losgeschoben. Es geht wunderbar leicht, ich war sehr überrascht und auch etwas verwirrt muss ich zugeben, denn es ist immer zu lesen man mit sowas nur ganz kleine Rasenflächen mähen kann. Vermutlich weil s zu anstrengend ist. Ich hab Fibromyalgie, also ständig Schmerzen und auch das ein oder andere andere Problem mit der Muskulatur - schiebt sich super leicht auch über meine "wilde Räuber Wiese" hier, was mich sehr erleichtert. Vom Geräuschpegel hier - er ist super leise! Hab auch gestern am Sonntag damit über die Wiese gerolltert. Wenn s schwer und "lauter" wird, hängt definitiv was fest. Kurz gucken, vorsichtig mit nem Stöckchen lösen (daher besser immer Handschuhe und nicht in die Klingen fassen!) und ab geht die wilde Fahrt dann wieder Ich kann s empfehlen!

Good lawn mower, very easy to assemble, useful product info and assembly instructions. Sold the bigger one (18in) after a few weeks use, found it too heavy (13kg) and purchased the smaller one (14in/9kg) - perfect for a small lawn and better size/weight for me. Only need to assemble the handle and attach to mower - 4 bolts & 2 pins. Easy to operate, push operation by hand, cuts well out of the box - hopefully it will be just as good after a number of mows. The mower was fully assembled in the box - seems pretty solid and well built - 9/10. Handle is a okay, 4 parts to assemble/attach, could be stronger steel - 8/10. Mower is unbranded Amazon product, likely a clone of a more expensive product. Good weight for mowing, mostly steel, very little plastic, should function well over time (no catcher with the smaller one which is ok, dont find the catcher useful when mowing) All push reel mowers have very sharp cutting action on grass, so operate with care and keep away from children.

I only write reviews if a product is excellent and this mower certainly is! It was easy to assemble and it cuts the grass beautifully. The best thing of all you can cut wet grass as another reviewer pointed out. I had no trouble at all with the grass collection box and very easy to uncle and clip on again when disposing of grass. It also made great stripes on my lawn which the hover mower couldn’t do. Such great value for £57!!
