Learning through play
The best educational toys are the ones where a child can learn without even realising it. My 3 year old can count to 20, but still gets muddled in the teens, so these are perfect for practicing counting. Then there is the colour and shape sorting elements. Again, great ways to reinforce what my daughter already knows in fun little pieces. The tweezers have been discarded in our house, in favour of fingers. The pieces are small, so even if the tweezers were easier to use I suspect there might be frustration as the pieces flick across the room!! For £20 this set is really good. I create mini games with the pieces, like asking my daughter which colour or shape is missing, or which one is in the wrong place. As she grows I can use this set for basic maths, and already have ideas on new games we can play. Highly recommended!

Educational sorting rainbow 🌈 game
Another educational and fun game from Learning Resource brand, this rainbow # game comes very nicely presented in a colourful and atractive cardboard box very sturdy and good quality too. inside the box you'll find a good size tray in a shape of rainbow with tweezers, little pieces to sort in rainbow colours and little cards to play the game in many other ways than sorting. everything is excellent quality, well made, interactive, fun and quality time spent for the kids ,lots of skills to learn also. definitely recommend!

Love it
I'm over the moon with this sorting activity. I got it for my 2 year old and he immediately started to play with it. He enjoys sorting the pieces by colour. The material feels very sturdy and durable. Although he didn't know how to use the tweezers at first, after only playing with it a few times, he got better and better. There are different ways of playing with this set and can be used for older kids as well which means that buying it you'd get a few years play for your child. I think that's great considering the current price of £20!

Great learning game
A great theme for my 2 year old as he is addicted to rainbows. He is advanced for his age so does enjoy putting all the colours into the correct trays, I would recommend that the age on this is as advised on the box. There’s so many other learning games we can play with this so I am excited for when he is a bit older to play them. There is a lot of little shapes so it’s going to be a challenge not to loose them. My 2 year old has already thrown them across the room!

Colourful rainbow fun
This compact set is great for little learners. My 22 month old daughter enjoys using the tweezers which really seem to support her fine motor skills. We also talk about the colours as she matches them, so it’s educational in that way too. It would be good if the lids to the side compartments clipped in underneath somehow whilst you use it. That way they wouldn’t get lost and could even stop the toy from slipping on certain surfaces.

Motor, maths and logic skills - Well made - Good game emphasis
This is one of the few educational toys that do a pretty good job of marrying in a fun and interactive experience with core learning principles. First is a fine motor skills that will be useful earlier on our easy to develop using the included tweezers and pieces. How do you progress the project involves more into the logic of sorting colours and shapes. Then finally you get to play the game where you will apply basic mathematics to start encouraging that side of things. House with all learning resources toys this is well made and well finished and pretty good value at £20.

Great for motor skills
Definitely one for older toddlers, you don’t want a baby cramming the bits into little mouths…that said, this is a really excellent toy for learning colours, fine motor skills and it also helps with concentration. So it’s a clever way of learning as all good educational toys are. Nicely made, with bright, vivid colours and I think, good value.

Fine motor skills and rainbow fun!
My four year old loves rainbows, so I just had to get this for him. It is a good size tray with lots of different colour pieces to sort. Using the supplied tongs is good for fine motor skills, and there are various games you can do with this. Good quality as can be expected with Learning Resource games.
