I bought the BenQ TH671ST in the 2020, in the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was my attempt at restoring some sense of control and normality to my family. It was, and remains the best purchase I made during that time period. This projector is a workhorse and continues to provide a great entertainment experience for me and my family. Video: Video is amazing. Movies, Series, and Games all look great on it. I'm very happy with the quality of the image and it's brightness. Menu has variety of options for color, brightness, and positioning that should help you get the perfect image you want for your setup. Audio: The onboard audio is impressive, I have a smaller living room so it fills it up nicety. I have opted to stick with the onboard audio as I never have to push it beyond 40-60% max volume. Durability: I've had this projector since 2020, about 4 years now and nothing has had to be replaced or fixed. I do occasional cleaning/dusting, but that's it. The lamp has stayed strong and bright. I'm able to watch movies during the day, with lights on, or at night. It always looks great, regardless. Overall: This is an amazing projector to upgrade your movie/gaming experience. I highly recommend it. I have a lot of faith in BenQ after this projector. In the future, I'll be looking at this brand when I eventually upgrade to 4K projection.

Purchased for golf simulator. Great picture and outstanding user interface. I use it in my lit garage and the brightness is great even with the lights on.

For the price, it's hard to beat the BenQ's picture quality. Out of the box, I found "Cinema" with "Brilliant Color" turned on to be the best experience. Good color accuracy, contrast and sharpeness. Motion processing is good also. For movies this is the way to go for under $1,000. The only shortcomings would be the DLP lamp creating dark gray black levels. 1080p on a 100" screen is still sharp enough, especially when watching high res movies. Although a quality high contrast screen can improve the black levels and decrease the grainy look. As for gaming, this unit lacks variable refresh rate tech, 120hz refresh rate, and 4k resolution for epic big screen gaming. So, with vsync enabled, you have to settle for 1080p 60hz locked. But the color contrast and sheer screen size will give you something else to be amazed at.

I have had this projector for 2 weeks now and I have to write about this again. BenQ TH671ST DELIVERS!! I have used this outside multiple occasions and most recently, tried it in my sun room in very poor (bright/daytime) conditions. This projector is so bright, you don't have to wait until the night is completely dark. My family and I have been watching at time of sunset (about 30 minutes prior to dusk) and wow!!! Amazing. pics and vids I have uploaded really doesn't do it justice. Much better in person!! After this past Friday's movie night outside, we got ate up by mosquitoes. So until we figure out a better solution (i.e getting some good repellent) we decided to take it indoors. We don't have a place to put our Camp Chef OS144 screen in the house, however, our sun room made a perfect place. Using the latches of the Camp Chef screen, we were able to hang it up on the curtain rods! Yes, I could have made the screen a bit tighter, but I',m not that picky. If this was a permanent place for the screen, I would have set it up the right way. As you can see in some of the pics and videos, there was much light during the day. However, BenQ TH671ST took it as a challenge and it kicked ass. However, we were able to make it much darker later on by simply closing the blinds and we ended up putting a dark bed sheet over the door to block out the sun on the side of the screen. It worked great. We were also able to simply place the projector directly on the floor in the sunr oom! Worked flawlessly! I could have perfected the projector so that it matches up directly with the screen, however I just wanted to start watching and not mess with it, haha. Outside, we used the EcoBoulder speaker. Inside, we simply connected the Bose Soundlink speaker! Great sound for indoors!! Simply love our set up outside and we now have a place in our sun room for inclement weather!! Next time, I can't wait to try rear projection outdoors!!!

Perfect for my golf simulator. I'm glad I spent a little extra for this one. Sound is good and image is sharp and perfect.

No focus adjustment, you have to move it manually and it the focus adjustment is incredibly limited, the window you can have it in "focus" is very tight, you are supposed to move the whole projector instead of being able to focus or correct the keystone. No screen size adjustment. Want to change the screen you have to move your wall i guess. It says it's short range in the description, it's not short range at all. Menu is garbage and difficult to navigate. Legs can let you tilt it about half an inch up, but you can't adjust the keystone in any way but up and down. Projector has to be right in front of the screen, can't be off to the side at all, even an inch, can't be down by enough that the projector isn't in front of the screen. Very disappointed.

Works great. Comes with a remote. Picture quality is great. Sound is good. Bought a sound bar for our theater room. Expensive but you get what you pay for!

Es muy buen proyector, tiene una calidad de imagen IMPRESIONANTE, como todo equipo que genera calor, el ventilador hace ruido pero no es algo que afecte, y en el tema del Sonido, es muy bueno, hay veces que lo ocupamos con una barra de sonido, pero otras veces solo con la bocina del proyector y se escucha bastante bien No me arrepiento de la compra :)

I purchased this projector for watching films, blurays for the most part, however even DVDs look okay. Netflix and Prime look terrific. At 100" the picture is surprisingly bright and sharp. I was hoping I could play games with my xbox series x on it, though it wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me had the lag been noticeable - I just would not have used it for games. However, it plays games with no discernable lag whatsoever. I like everything from Forza to Dead Souls, and they look beautiful way up on my wall. Third person games like Dead Space and Sniper Elite feel like I am playing a movie. And Microsoft Flight Simulator is stunning! Beautiful projector, I just love it. Easy set up, it's light and small enough to pop in my backpack to take it to my girlfriend's house. The bulb cools very quickly, and the fan is very quiet. 100% recommended.

Lo uso en una pantalla de 120 pulgadas y se vé perfecto. Colores vivos, gran nitidez en 1080p. Sonido sorprendentemente bueno. Para los juegos es perfecto por la baja latencia. Muy recomendable.

This projector replaces an older one that was a pain to set up, as it had to be further away from the wall, and bringing power there created a tripping hazard. Our setup has a table set four feet from the wall, upon which this projector sits, so no more wires going into the high-traffic area. I wish it were a little more short throw, but it's nearly perfect for our needs. It's bright, clear, and quite intuitive to use. Hope it lasts for the next 5 years.

Pros. El tiro corto es excelente 100" a metro y medio. Hace ruido pero nada molesto, hace menos ruido que cualquier consola. La experiencia en juegos esta muy buena no se siente nada de delay. La iluminación es excelente aun con poca oscuridad Contras La vida útil del la lámpara se acorta mucho si lo usas exclusivamente para gamming Me hubiese gustado una entrada extra de usb o opitical para un buen audio sincronizado. El lente está muy expuesto a golpes o rayones.
