Does it have a hot plate or is it a thermal jug?

It does have a hotplate which stays hot for about 20 minutes, after which it automatically switches itself off.

Is the plastic that comes in contact with heat BPA free

I can confirm that yes it is BPA free

Does this coffee maker have a reusable filter?

It's meant to be used with "Melitta 100" paper filters. But you might be able to find a reusable filter of that size. Would make the coffee a bit more bitter though... I love that coffee machine - tastes like a proper 80's classic ;)

Does this coffeemaker have a standard UK wall plug? Would it be possible to see a photo of the plug?

Yes, can confirm it's a standard UK 3 pin plug.
