Can this be used under the seals where the injectors go?

No!!!!!!! If your vehicle is a diesel and the injectors are blowing you need new seals

Is this ok to use on a EGR valve and gasket?

Don't know what that is but the packet says good for -40C to +250C. NOT good for head gaskets or fuel systems. Otherwise ok for engine casings, sump plates, water seals, rocker boxes etc.

Can i use this with a rubber gasket on a valve cover?

Don’t really know I used it metal to metal on a timing case and it held no problem . Is it a water jacket that you’re doing if it is I would imagine that the rubber would be ok it’s self.
