Extra Long 21.5" Steel Monkey Bars for Backyard - Ladder Rungs Hardware Kit - Hexagonal at Both Ends (Set of 6) (Green)

Got these to expand my daughters swing set. They are great and well-made. Others have said they are not 21.5", which is true, but they are only about an 1/8" off, so it's not a big issue when working with wood.

Bought these to build monkey bars for my Grandson. Very sturdy. All the welds look nice.. Finish looks like it will hold up nicely.. Came with all necessary screws he loves it.

These are great. There is a really nice texture to the bars which make holding onto them really easy. This is a similar texture to what you will find on commercial monkey bars at newer public playgrounds because it is harder to lose your grip. As far as quality the welds on these bars is nice and clean/strong. I am 240 lbs and there is no flex or deflection with me using them. The included hardware looks like stainless steel, but they just call it "anti-rust hardware". It seems good, but I prefer star heads so used different hardware. The bar itself has champhered holes so that fluted wood screws sit nice and flush in there. For the price these are great. I will be picking up a second set to make a nice long run. These are not the cheapest option, but for this quality , length, and being side mounted they are very worth the premium.

Seem sturdy and well made. They are almost 22 inches long. I'm not sure if I like the paint yet or not. I found a about 3 small rough spots I may try to sand down. I'm not sure that they are bad enough to cut someone's hands but better safe than sorry. Other than that I would recommend them.

We got these bars to make monkey bars for a Christmas gift playground. They arrived promptly and are easy to install. They have a nice texture that isn’t slippery and make great bars to swing on. Fun for all ages!

The Monkeybar material so far has been great; it even has a nice, subtle, grippy texture to it. The paint chipped in two spots after accidentally hitting it with a framing hammer, but a hammer like that is crazy heavy, and I took a large swing, so if it hadn't, I would have been seriously impressed. But even after dropping a few other tools on it, it didn't chip or dent, so the paint is high-grade and looks like it should resist inclement weather. I weigh 200 lbs, and the bars didn't flex or sway at all so that they could hold their own; BUT, I had to move a few bars to space them out better, and every single one of the screws sheared right off. I think the bars themselves would have come apart over time if I hadn't upgraded them. I tend to over-engineer everything since I like my home-owner insurance rate to remain where it is, so I opted to use GRK 5/8 3" structural screws, so I know, without any doubt, that I can stand under them during a tornado and walk away without a scratch. Excellent setup, BUT UPGRADE THE SCREWS; seriously, please heed my advice, or someone will get hurt.

Outstanding product. I completed a playground for my grand children and they love it. One change I would make is to have the screws coated and a Robertson head, Phillips heads get stripped easily and make it frustrating while installing. The bars themselves are well worth the price.
