I've only just received this which was ordered to use while the one we already have is being washed, so can't comment in too much detail, however, it's nice and soft, looks very hard-wearing and was several pounds cheaper than the one we bought in the local pet store, and looks just as good. My puppy loves to scratch the rubber backing on his current mat, making an awful mess, so I like the green backing on this which is more like the back of a normal carpet - and hopefully will withstand puppy bites and scratches well. Will wait and see :) UPDATE: The mat itself is fine, but please be careful. It turns out that the rubber strip backing on our previous mat - which our puppy took great delight in scratching - was very useful, and not just there to annoy me. It meant that the mat didn't slip on our kitchen tiles when walked on. The green backing on this mat proves to be a potential hazard if we step on it as we walk past as it skids out from under our feet. We're going to buy some gripper tape that stops this problem, so if you're intending to use it in a kitchen, please be aware that this may also be a problem for you.

Great for young and old dogs. Thick pile with good strong backing, keeps pets comfortable and warm. I put several layers of newspaper underneath to soak up any accidents, moisture is not retained in fleece keeping pets dry. Really good quality and value for money. I would buy this again.

My older dogs find this very comfy - for a while, before the beggars dig it offtheir memory foam beds. But it's great in the car, being warm and supportive. My great concern is in the realisation - too late mate, I'd bought it - that this is plastic in some guise and its washing is contributing to the microplastic cartastrophe overhauling the whole of Creation. Unless I'm wrong about that, manufacturers? Happy and relieved to be corrected, if so.

My bunny has become paralyzed and I was having trouble with keeping him dry and cure the urine scalding from him weeing on himself. I used this bedding with a washable puppy pad underneath and I am so happy, the Sherpa vet bed was bone dry after a full night and day, the puppy pad was wet. Exactly what i wanted to happen so I know that for atleast 24 hours my boy is dry on his bed I bought 2 to allow for one to be washed and dry before I change the bed over again.

This bed lasted longer than anything else as I have a bed chewer. She doesn’t chew anything else, only her bed and my other dog’s bed! She still has this one but it is now a little the worse for wear! I am yet to find a bed, she won’t chew!

Thick and cosy vetbed, quality is good and at good price too - big thumbs up!

Really good quality bedding that I bought for my litter of labrador puppies. Excellent quality and most importantly, very easy to clean. Just chuck it in washing machine then tumble on low temperature.

Dries like a dream. Easy to clean comes up like new every time and depending on the size of your cage slides straight in. No cutting etc. Excellent product
