Decent battery life, doesn't sound off unnecessarily, gives a warning if bumped into accidentally, will literally blow your eardrums if you are daft enough to be near it when it does sound the alarm after further tampering, 120 decibels of sound pressure and it has two tone one of which is ear splitting, excellent long term battery life, they reckon upto 3 years, cheap ones only 6 months. Only down side is the cost of buying mounting brackets they are half the price of the alarm lock, I mount mine to the belt of my bumbag round my waist it's a little bulky and heavy but not a big deal. I might be able to make my own from some old light brackets I have I'm pretty good with stuff like that. Recycle where you can. The alarm won’t burst your ear drums but you’ll definitely hear it go off outside. I feel much better having one of these in my bike than the cheap ones on amazon that are very easy to snap.The alarm sensitivity is just right for me, the warning goes off as soon as you move the bike and I’ve never had the alarm go off by itself.
